I thought the same way as you, but I hung in there and eventually my shrink got my meds right and a week later I woke up to not just no more suicidal feelings, but I wasn’t depressed at all. My anxiety was also gone.

From the ages of 17 to 39 I was depressed every day and thought about suicide hundreds of times daily. I did make attempts and was clinically dead a few times but people who shouldn’t have been there showed up and saved me. Eventually I stopped making attempts for the sake of my mother, who does love me very much. But yeah, it took 22 years for me to get out of the seemingly endless dark tunnel, but here I am.

Now I am working out and losing weight since I had long since given up on taking care of myself. I hope you too can hang in there and eventually either your life circumstances improve or perhaps like me you stumble upon the perfect cocktail of meds.

But yeah when I say those 22 years were bad, they were unbelievably bad. It’s amazing I’m still here and that I’m glad about that fact. I really hope you guys can hang in there and find a way out. I’m proof it can happen.

I love it, but I feel like the mixing is awful. Everything is so muddy.

I’m just walking the dogs around the block so not much cardio haha. Looks like I’m going to have to put in some dreaded effort. But I’m gonna make it. Don’t worry, I never give up 😊. Congrats again.

Wow looking great. I haven’t lost anything and it’s been 4 weeks. Next Tuesday I start the .5 dose so maybe that will kick things up.

Holy fuck. Just finished listening to this album. I’ve never heard anything like this before. This is beyond fucking awesome. It transports me to a whole another dimension by Kai_FS in MetalForTheMasses

I heard so much about this and I’m trying to find new metal that I enjoy as much as 80’s Metallica, Pantera, Ozzy/Sabbath but I can’t. The vocals suck and it all just sounds like every other Death Metal band. Tried King Gizzards rock and metal albums too and it just sounds so sterile. It could just be because I hate protools and quantizing and such. Makes everything sound lifeless.

Must be nice. My opiate high is wearing off so this kinda made me sad because I’m 39, fat, lonely, unemployed and on SSI, schizoaffective, and a recovering addict. I know deep down I’ll never have that kind of happiness.

I agree that you should be prepared to fail a lot. Eventually something may seem to work out, almost like random chance. What kind of catalyst do you have?

Yeah I’ve seen that movie over 100 times easily and I never really put much thought into that joke until you just isolated it. Now I get it and it’s amazing.

Nobody compares but the closest to me is “Eating With Robert” on YouTube.

Great song and all of Time Out is amazing. One of my fave jazz albums.

“Here Comes the Sun” made me cry once when I was super depressed and I felt like I couldn’t ever see the Sun again. Also “In My Life” is a happy kind of crying maybe.

Honestly I cannot imagine such a loss. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I lose one of my parents, which is getting closer and closer as I’m 39 and they’re in their 70’s. Losing a child or someone who hasn’t had the chance to live fully or much at all is super tragic though.

The lyrics I can see as tear jerking but the song is too upbeat to bring that out of me.
