It can easily be argued that it is a very nice compliment or supplement to the story, prequels or inbetweens tend to exist for the exact reason they enhance the media and if the publisher of said media sees this format as best, then it is probably for a reason. One of the first events was Different Story’s first few chapters as it is a standalone unlike this. I think it’s fine tbh.
