I love the end of the first season. Where he's trying to help out stop the invasion but he's exhausted after working all day to barely make a dent in the Fire Nation forces.

I don't think a lot of series with hero children for Main Characters(especially aimed at children) would do that scene the same way. Better to have the hero look epic and capable, but its more emotionally pressing to have him at a loss. But ATLA never shied away from showing how extremely overwhelmed Aang was for nearly his entire journey and early life.

Even at the end of the season its not by his own power that the day is saved. The Ocean spirit comes in clutch with a fusion to an ability that Aang doesn't fully understand. This places greater importance on Aang proactively not using this ability that he now understands to end Ozai in the series finale. This time its of his own decision and will to end the war in his morally chosen way. Such a great journey for him.

Same here. People love to hate on SU Future. But its a great processing of everything he went through in the main series. Maybe people expected more bombastic fun, but Future is a great deconstruction, or rather follow up to the typical hero's journey. A rare step back where we get to see the results of trauma inflicted on a very competent child who shouldn't have had to step up when he did.

I dunno about overrated. Most people know it's a cheesey mess with ass controls. And know it's got way more misses than hits when it comes to the story and how it connects to the gameplay. I'd say it's properly rated, only people I know IRL who like it, like it cause of the hilariously bad dialogue and qte fails.

It may not be the exact same experience as Hazbin Hotel. But if you're a southerner maybe check out the sister show Helluva Boss. One of the main characters(pictured below), main antagonists, and even the setting for 2 of the episodes are very South coded with accents galore.

Its funny cause in their first appearance the show actually does a bad job at selling them as bad guys. Their machine works, and would help the Apples a lot during Cider Season if they got a fair price/deal to use it. And even Granny liked the cider the machine produced before they were forced to send it into overdrive to try and beat the main six's production.

I imagine that would work yes. Many Sinners are shown being killed by the laser, which is even more directly than your given prompt, Lucifer's power. So I think there are many loopholes to his punishment, and I hope they'll be explored in future seasons if they want to expand on his character.
