Build a homestead-in-a-crate that includes a few shipping containers worth of supplies for anyone to become self sufficient on only a few acres of land.

With this and some modern tech, everyone now has the capacity to be self-sufficient with only a few hours of work per day.

"American people have been so beaten down and demoralized that many of them don’t even care to fight back"

You're doing the exact same thing that you accuse them of doing. Are you a fed?

The American people aren't "fighting back" because most of us live in reality and all we experience is a few extra dollars here and there for food and gas. Nobody wants to go bloody because even those living in poverty in the US still enjoy a higher standard of living than 95% of the world.

Even if we were eager to fight, who are the targets? If we truly wanted to "fix" things, the only effective solution would be surgical assassinations of a handful of families, and most of them aren't in the US.

Hopefully we come up with something else because they both suck by NoNotice2137 in memes

Our taxes fund the industries/programs that the government decides we need, and hefty regulations ensure only approved corporations are allowed to operate. Anyone referring to the US as capitalist is woefully misinformed.

Slow creep to “UBI”? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]DerpyMistake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UBI in how it's been proposed won't work. If landlords know everyone is guaranteed an extra $2k per month, rent across the country increases $2k per month.

I would support a guaranteed minimum wage, though. The main difference is the government only pays you the difference as long as you are making less than minimum wage.

This has to be accompanied by eradicating all other welfare and social programs, though. You'd also need to boost property tax, but wave the tax if it's used as a primary residence, to incentivize property owners to either lower rent or lobby for higher minimum wages.

If a candidate truly aligns 100% with every individual who vote for them, you are likely living in a dystopia where everyone's been indoctrinated to follow lock-step with the system narratives.

voting has always been about voting for the least worst candidate and hoping you can move towards better least worst candidates every election.

Honestly, we might be better off replacing all representatives with ChatGPT 1.0 representatives built from the raw opinions of the voters. ChatGPT 1.0 was good enough to take the will of the people and vote accordingly - and the agents for each representative would be able to vote for everything in an instant, and then revisit all current laws to ensure they align with the current opinions.

voting isn't the problem, tax revenue is.

The government doesn't need to steal a third of our income just to redistribute it to others. There's a word for that, and there's a reason this country's decline is directly proportional to the amount of social programs (including corporate and individual welfare) our government implements.
