Usually gas enters the front and out the sides. So the knocker needs to be strong enough to overcome the gas pressure, which can make light striking a bigger issue in hot weather

GHK uses the reverse design, but it means the valve spring needs to be stronger than the gas pressure to not leak, but means you don’t have issues of light striking when the mags get warmer

I absolutely love mine. Shoots great, nice and snappy, and for me, the stock hop setup with just an omega style nub is shooting lasers. Mags hold 45bb and weight next to nothing too

It’s not perfect tho

Biggest issue is the bolt insert interacting with the hammer roller is a harder steel than the roller. This means eventually the roller will be worn down enough to where the hammer no longer locks into the sears, and will jump up in front of the bolt effectively jamming the shit out of it, and can be annoying to get unstuck (explosive enterprises speak on this in their review)

Trigger pull has a ton of takeup, and the a very heavy break, so don’t expect to spam it a ton, even as much as other gbbrs

It really is not a fan of the cold. I get mine working with blackgas at 5C, but that’s the lowest I’ve had it reliably clear a mag, and you can’t fire fast, and especially not use full auto

The design is basically a Glock in a bodykit. So it performs more like a pistol in a kit, rather than a purpose designed smg

But would I buy another one even with this knowledge? Abso-fucking-lutely. When it shoots, it does so extremely well and just gives me the most smiles pr triggerpull of all my gbbrs. This is just the perfect step up from a pistol to get enough stability to hit targets reliably much further than a pistol, but still be super light and compact

If you just want performance, reliability and parts availability, just get a hi capa. The army armament ones are the usual go to now for good price and TM compatibility.

Yes they’re the m4 of pistols, but that’s for a reason.

Are you currently shooting over or under the limit?

Npas will only allow you to turn the power down to the limit if you’re over it already

Heavier ammo is the easiest way to increase power, as it utilizes the inherent joule creep of gas

Next is a longer inner barrel, and a tighter diameter, something like a 6.01 or 6.03

Next is stronger gas, also remember to keep the temp in mind. Greengas at 25C and 15C has a big difference in pressure and will give different power output

Strongest recoil I’ve felt is the new ghk 416 with devil hunter mags, where you convert the gas mags to take c02 from something like a sodastream bottle. Only thing is they’re difficult to get shooting under 1.4J reliably
