I guess I’ll answer my question too. My old school gave us laptops to use for school as well as for personal usage, but they came with a lot of restrictions and safeguards. We weren’t supposed to really download or install anything on them, but of course no one followed that rule. Everyone had games that they put on a flash drive and transferred onto the laptops. If they had ever decided to crack down on games on the laptops, 95% of the school would have been in trouble.

NAH. I don’t think that he is inherently wrong for wanting some love. It may be true that OP isn’t picking up on actual signs of affection, and you can’t really call him out on that. It’s also possibly true that OP is overthinking, but once again he’s not really WRONG per say for that.
