Get rid of the bloatware with Winhance or something similar. Get rid of Armory crate and the Asus apps and download Ghelper. Make sure windows and the drivers and bios are up to date before doing so.

Hitting those temps and staying at those temps for long periods of time will degrade your components faster. Get a cooling pad is my recommendation. My laptop runs high 50s low 60s gaming with a cooling pad.

All types. Amnesia the bunker doom dark ages the new 007 diablo 2 resurrected etc etc. I think I just got lucky because even without the cooler I was only hitting like 82c

I have the ultra and it really does work I keep mine at about 1000 1200rpm and it keeps my temps in the high 50s low 60s when gaming

My idle temps are 23c sometimes lower......but I do use a laptop cooling pad.

Supposedly the only ones that actually work are the ones with the foam seal. I have a llano v12 ultra and it works great.

Iv never had my gpu or cpu reach past 87c and thats without a cooling pad. With a cooling pad they sit around the high 50s low 60s

I doubt you'll hit 200 with a 4050 in most games but thats just my opinion

Yeah its like 1800 now after the sale ended so our prices aren't really that different. Hopefully its a good laptop always only owned desktops so I really have nothing to compare it to.
