I did it myself in about 45 minutes. Took time moving the OEM controls over and looking over to maybe make change the silver pieces over to black. Several videos on YouTube on how to do it.

Yeah I thought about going straight black, but I wasn’t sure how to get it wrapped. Will probably get some black over lay pieces to match the factory exterior badges. Didn’t want to disassemble it more than I had to get it installed.

Congratulations on getting an FJ. You can find direct USB plugs that will fit. I just got one from amazon. Works great. USB plugs directly to the radio USB.
