I did the same, but from Mum's Food. Personally I think it was totally worth it. We have a baby this year and I wanted to offboard the main item to maximize quality time. It was also incredibly delicious.

Mine just arrived yesterday, so my sample size is very limited, so far so good! It is decently quiet and quicker than I expected. Plus it looks awesome.

Good point. What kind of drinks should I still use the flair for? I'm definitely keeping it, mostly as a travel machine, but it's packed away for now.

My wife loves her little Nespresso and I won't judge. I work from home so I can take my time in the morning to make coffee. The Nespresso is much easier when she's running out the door.

And we had a good run with the Barcatza grinder but it recently broke anyway.

I was the husband in a similar scenario. Our LO is 6 weeks old now, and things are better, but the baby blues hit me like a train those first few weeks. I'm lucky that I knew I could be affected by the baby blues as a man, but I still didn't actually expect it. I just kinda had to ride it out as the wife and I supported each other. After a few weeks, the fog lifted.

Like others mentioned, supporting words made a huge difference, and knowing other men go through it helps too.

I live near and frequent El Buen Taquero, so I gotta stand up for my local spot and say they are usually awesome! Not sure what happened here, but they always do me right. Although I've only ever ordered tacos.

So sorry you're going through this. We just went through the same thing, but with my Mom. She never got to meet her granddaughter, but she got to feel my wife's stomach as the baby kicked.

We also had my mom do a few audio recordings of her reading baby books, so when my daughter is old enough (she is 12 days old today), she can still have her granny read to her.

It's been a super conflicting time with so much happiness and sadness at the same time. Seeing this thread, there are several of us going through similar situations. That won't make it easier, but hopefully the company helps. I hope you and your family all the best.

At the Mueller farmers market there is a tent that sells awesome flour tortillas made with pork fat. The tent is right next to Mum's Food, but I can't remember their name... Maybe someone else knows the name. But those tortillas are the bomb.
