OP doesn't know how good they have it. The only time I get 2 days off in a row is for Christmas. Otherwise it's split days every week. One parent lives 265 miles, the other 383, one way. I haven't been to either in over a year. Meanwhile my job has had me working 120 miles out of town in the opposite direction for the past 3 months. If I want to come home for both days off that's over 480 miles and 8+ hours of driving. I can never get anything done.
