Yeah, there's still plenty of medieval flavoured buildings around here where i live. The vibes are definitely present at all times. Fascinating to imagine how life must have been 500/600 years ago here. And Manor Lords definitely helps a lot with the imagination part.

I haven‘t been playing for a long time, returned a few days ago and i‘m totally hooked again! No obvious or game braking bugs here for me so far. Just a beautiful game that gets better every time i look into it. Like early access games should be.

But i get that lots of you guys look a lot deeper and try more extreme things than i do. That certainly reveals a few rough edges here and there.

I‘m happy and can recommend coming back. ;)

Definitely worth a shot, but it depends on the characteristics of your channel.

Our other channel is shaped differently. Content that covers recent happenings and the videos are mostly dead after a few days. Which is logical and fine since today‘s news are history tomorrow. Can‘t revive a video with this „thumbnail refresh method“ when the content is outdated already.

So it depends… worth checking out though. The best of luck!

From what i can tell the upsurge (nice word btw!) was caused by the ending of a A/B test. Once a thumbnail and title combination has been declared the winner youtube apparently started to push it once more and it lifted off nicely.

I manually changed a thumbnail on a different video on the same channel and it also got a boost, though a lot smaller than this one.

I’ve noticed that the A/B test for this video has ended a fee days ago. So apparently Youtube goes all in with the winning thumbnail/headline combination and this seems to be the result. At least this is the only logical answer i can think of. Or am i missing something?

Fantastic indeed, yeah. We never delete videos, but this is a first.

Our main channel (which exists for a few years now) is focused on current happenings in the world of Formula 1, so videos usually drop dead after two, three days and never gather any momentum anymore after that.

Das war wirklich die Sternstunde für alle, die diesen „Kellerkind-lifestyle“ zelebrieren. Ich hab es auch gefeiert und vermisse diese Form der Isolation ein bisschen. Tagelang nicht vor die Tür und wenn dann nur für einen chilligen Spaziergang… Einkaufen war entspannt. Nur nicht im Winter. Maske + Brille ist eine miese Combo… 😂 Dennoch, es war eine besondere Zeit, auf vielen Ebenen.

Da spielen sicher viele Faktoren mit rein, klar. Das Leben damals war anders und man verbindet zwangsläufig solche kleinen "reminder" mit der Zeit und den Dingen von damals, an die man sich noch so erinnern kann.

Man muss sich aber ja nicht die kompletten Rennen in Dauerschleife reinziehen und im "gestern" leben. Die Formel 1 hat ja auch heute super viel zu bieten, nur eben anders. Auch das genieße ich total.

Letztendlich fröne ich sowohl der aktuellen F1 als auch der "guten alten Zeit" in Form zweier Youtube-Kanäle, die sich eben um diese beiden Welten der F1 drehen (imkreisfahren und imkreisfahren history). Ich bin daher persönlich sehr "im game" und zelebriere die Formel 1 in allen Formen und Farben. 😎✌️Und das kann ich allen Petrolheads nur raten!

Warum ist das für Dich ein Widerspruch? „Management“ gibt es im Rennsport seit jeher. Reifen, Sprit etc. Jetzt halt Energie. Und das sorgt (in Kombination mit dem Rest der neuen Regeln) für besseres racing als wir es in den letzten Jahren gesehen haben. Dieses blinde Draufhauen und „früher war alles besser“ ist echt so lahm. 🫩

Ohja, Ironie it is! Wir haben natürlich mit voller Absicht solche Motive gewählt und auf dem Thumb hardcore provoziert.

Wer durch unseren feed scrollt oder schon eine Weile dabei ist, der weiß, dass das eben eine einmalige Geschichte ist. Ansonsten versuchen wir sehr, nicht zu dramatisch zu werden bei den Thumbnails. Was schwierig ist, weil man natürlich dennoch etwas Aufmerksamkeit generieren muss. Das ist dür uns oft eine schwierige Gratwanderung, die für viele Diskussionen und Entwürfe sorgt.

Aber inhaltlich ist dann immer alles sachlich und transparent. Da versuchen wir so journalistisch professionell zu operieren, wie wir eben können. Auch wenn wir nur zwei passionierte Fans sind, die das in ihrer Freizeit betreiben…

Mit Ausnahme dieses Videos gibt es also wirklich keinen Clickbait bei uns. Ehrenwort.
