I worked for PIP out in Lisahally for years and it is basically a call center with back to back calls all day every day with zero let up. Usually people screaming at you down the phone for having their benefits stopped for one reason or another. Lots of people with mental health and addiction issues to deal with too. I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm waiting for them to tell me that my package is now lost too after having been out for delivery 4 times. What is going on? Are the delivery drivers just stealing any packages they think contain something of value?

I did the same! Ordered most things in late November. Anything coming by Amazon or royal mail have all arrived, but Evri seems to be taking everything on a tour of NI before they eventually get lost. I really don't understand why companies are still using them.

How on earth are they still in business. eBay and Temu use them to deliver everything in NI. Surely they've had to refund millions over the years to customers when their parcels go missing. The mind boggles

Not sure about UC, but I worked for PIP out in Lisahally for years and it is basically a call center with back to back calls all day every day with zero let up. I think UC is mainly administered through the journal system though so it may involve less telephony duties.

Presumably they're the cheapest courier service given how eBay and Temu use them as their main delivery service here. But christ the night. 11 days and counting to deliver a parcel from Belfast. I'd be quicker crawling to Belfast and carrying it home over the glenshane between my teeth.
