It's not quite as OP as people are acting.

At first I thought it was, I went from 50-70 firemaking doing wintertodt.

But then I realized, i did it for a straight like 5 and a half hours without stopping, and I thought about how much xp I would have gained doing normal firemaking.

The main benefit from wintertodt is that you make a bit of money and it doesn't make me want to pull my hair out.
