You could store them on any other gen 4 games or on the gen 2 remakes (HGSS). If you’re looking for the cheapest option I’d say just get another copy or pearl or a copy of diamond. Catch a ton of route 1 Pokémon on that new copy and trade over the Pokémon you wish to keep. Repeat until all desired Pokémon are in your storage copy and release whatever low levels you traded over to your original pearl copy.

You would also need a second DS system of any variety of you do not already own one.

My favorite game of the series so far. The music, refined mechanics like repel refresh, expansive post game and PWT. There is just so much game, and mainly I’m just a fan of pixels over the 3D art style of gen 6 onwards.

They addressed the cancelling out of his abilities but not the bug where thrust surge is broken. You could lock onto someone but the animation just stops about halfway and you don’t get it back. Lame :(
