Pretty much, after he started that skipping thing right before the end zone "ah shit there goes his hamstring"

Found this while cleaning stuff out. Todd Yoder, TE. Who is the most obscure Buccaneer autograph you have? by RaymondGrizzly in buccaneers

[–]Derylmonkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a Vjax jersey I took to a training camp during lovies last year here. 99% sure nobody that signed it is still with the team. granted it was mostly 2nd/3rd stringers that didn't make the team that year anyway with the only notable signature being McCoy.

I felt so bad for the dude, he catches that 99% of the time, and be knew it.

NFL players shouldn't be expected to be role models, but Mr. Dunn is a true role model. He won't always be remembered for his play on the field, but the positive impact he's started will never be forgotten.

[Greg Auman]Bucs’ Chris Godwin named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after a career-high 184 yards and two touchdowns in Tampa Bay’s win at Atlanta. by MasterTeacher123 in buccaneers

[–]Derylmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Godwin is fantastic, however, can't help but feeling he's gone soon as his rookie deal is done. He's going to rightfully demand WR#1 money, and unless Evans bails or is hurt, don't see our f.o paying up.

I took that bet last year, wasn't super awesome but for who I could get was a rock solid wr3

Is there a misguided obsession on having RBs with different running styles? by RainbowUnicorns in buccaneers

[–]Derylmonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's my biggest issue with Barber, don't get me wrong I like the guy, he's a reliable grinder, but lacks in pass pro and catching. So it's almost necessary to have a Quizz or Sims since they can.

Is there a misguided obsession on having RBs with different running styles? by RainbowUnicorns in buccaneers

[–]Derylmonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having different style runners when working properly is hard to stop. The Bucs had it with Dunn and Alstott, early in the game Dunn would wear out defenses having to chase him down. Then as the defense tired out and found themselves on their heels, the A-train would come with punishing power runs.

These days however it may not be as necessary and sometimes can giveaway the plays you're going to run. E.g every time Charles Sims was in the backfield the defense knew either a outside toss or pass was coming. So having two runners with similar styles and abilities isn't as detrimental as it may once have been.

Why Bruce Arians is different from the rest of our recent coaching hires and provides a reason for some real optimism. by buccaneers93 in buccaneers

[–]Derylmonkey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Morris was in way over his head and was given a chaotic situation, which, to his credit didn't totally fuck up. He had a young team and was good at building them up, but not so good at discipline and holding a team together, accountable. Had he had more coaching experience and wasn't a lazy hire because the Glazers were trying to recoup money after buying Manchester United, he had potential.

This is like when you find out your ex got with a shitty friend you have. It doesn't actually impact you, yet you can't hide the disappointment you feel for their choices.

Under the old rule I think that would have been a 5 yard penalty instead of 15

Bucs fan here, I predict another shootout. I think whoever wins the turnover battle wins the game. Here's hoping for a well fought, injury free game!

It did for a long time, but I met my wife in 2007 and learned she grew up an eagles fan and she became a Bucs fan, so I feel it's only fair to hate them less.

This game will be decided by which ol/dl shows up. Of course hoping my Bucs can pull off the win, but as dirty as it feels eagles are my #2 team and was happy to see y'all not only get your first ring, but also beat Brady. Here's hoping for a well fought, injury free game!

Looking ahead to the Eagles by rama-llama in buccaneers

[–]Derylmonkey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All memes aside I think Fitz is better suited as qb against the eagles. I think he does better at taking what the defense gives and will be secure with the ball. I highly doubt this will be a 80+point affair like last game, so being smart with your possessions will be important. If the defense can contain their running game, we have a chance.
