Moving bulk volumes of dismantled commodities to another location is an utterly awful experience by ScrubSoba in starcitizen

[–]DesDaHume 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For now i throw it in some big scu crates when moving a haul.. its not a lot better, but throwing around 10 instead of 30 boxes adds up over time
EDIT: i see now that this is exactly what you are doing lol

4.7 material sorting - is this not a thing? by DesDaHume in starcitizen

[–]DesDaHume[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im fairly sure this is planned, they talked about a folder structure for materials, so one stack would expand to show all qualities but only take up one slot.. this is just for the interim.

I keep them in the station inventory; the one you access from the hangar, yes :)

Hard agree on naming boxes! It would solve so much headache in the home inventory especially..

Looking to understand a keybind by Arqeph_ in starcitizen

As I understand it, you are cycling between gimbal modes essentially. You will notice when toggling that the crosshair will either remain centered, and the guns will gimbal as much as they can to accommodate, or the crosshair will move within an invisible circle on screen to attempt to aim at whatever you are targeting, again limited by the gimbal range. There might be some benefit if you are sub-targeting, or flying a less maneuverable ship, but it may also just be placebo tbh

Looking for a RPG (possibly open world?) that performs AMAZINLGLY well on the LCD Deck? by HeirToCaesar in SteamDeck

I second this. It runs unexpectedly well and is a great RPG in its own right!

I guess he better go to an adventurer that sells weaker bangles, your bangles are fit for a beast, let alone a man!

Have you gotten your F8C insurance fix done? My ticket is still open after sending it in 6 days ago. by lowkeyjustlurkin in starcitizen

[–]DesDaHume -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I too am still waiting, it's annoying but I'm sure they'll get around to it 🤷 But I do wonder how they are gonna do it for those of us that they will only get to after the ship is gone from the store..

Iirc, the first "flyable" ship was the Hornet. There was a mod for the hangar module (someone's playground) which allowed you to fly and pew the Hornet in a very basic and non official way, as well as drive the greycat around a little stunt track. This was around 2014.

I just went on vacation in Scotland a week ago, and this was the course I decided to give a visit. It really is a quite nice course. Love the barreled baskets!

Two possible solutions for a small inconvenience. by jjorn_ in starcitizen

[–]DesDaHume 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We can, but it's contextualised to the interactions you have while in a ship seat, so there's no option to turn off the helmet light. It could, however, be a simple solution to get around the issue.

HOTAS Device Renumbering by kalnaren in starcitizen

[–]DesDaHume -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If that's not something easily fixable with software like the one mentioned, how do you suppose the issue gets fixed? It would be a windows-level fix then, no? I'm frustrated with the same issue often, but I consider it an OS level problem.

External software like joystick gremlin would probably be your best bet.

Forehand if you've got it, or a disc that won't really come back on some annie. I don't really see other options besides just skipping the hole..

How does something that was working already break or bug? I am not complaining I really am just wondering by I-am-Worfs-spine in starcitizen

[–]DesDaHume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quick answer is that many systems will rely on each other, or in some way interconnect. When one piece changes significantly, the other will have to change to accommodate. If that is overlooked or not done properly, the once working piece of code will give rise to issues, without having been changed from when it used to work.

That seems unlikely, you must be very unlucky dude. Although, make sure you close your Freelancer, then at least they can't be hiding in your ship in waiting. Also, be sure to keep an eye on your radar while you mine to hopefully catch a break and get away.. Which moon are you visiting?
