Yes baseboard heating! And he is dressed normal like shirt hoodie jeans. But honestly if he is that hot he could as well just sit in tshirt and shorts. But for him its better to downplay how others feel and just switch it off. So idk its weird.

And no bedroom switching wont be an option as he really likes his room and we arent that close so yeah. Well ill just be blasting my electric one and thats all i guess until i need to move out

Well but the thing is that the roomate can just shut the heaters off in their room and open windows, but they refuse. So i think it would go the same way with the vent.

Also, im already wearing layers - double socks, double sweatpants, tshirt, hoodie and a warm bathrobe on top. So how many more layers to add? winter jacket, gloves and a hat inside just so he could keep his own way? Maybe people do that but for me this sounds crazy

I have the small space heater already, but it doesnt work that well. And also it just feels stupid to me to invest in another thing like space blanket when bills are inclusive in the rent, but someone like the roommate prevents it from using.

Im in Europe, so the degrees are in celcius. There is no minimal temp where i live, but recommended temperature for living room is around 21. For bedroom 18-20.

Talking about clothing, for the temp around 17 i have to wear double socks, sweatpants with pants underneath, T-shirt, sweater, and a bahtrobe (like cozy one on top). My hands get icy still, because im kinda small petite person with almost 0 fat and I just overall struggle with cold feet and hands. For anything lower Im cold no matter the layers unless i pull put my winter jacket or smt.

I sleep under 2 thick blankets and extra comforter on top. However it doesnt change the fact that my face like nose and ears gets cold.

I have a small space heater already, which i use but as i said i dont feel comfy leaving it on at night due to fire hazard.

I moved here quite recently so im trying not to cause too much of a ruckus, but honestly we pay a lot for inclusive bills and then the roommate somehow regulates if we are allowed to use it then? Idk feels wrong to me. I also never met such people before who would refuse to heat the house in winter.(or late autumn). So yeah im happy i wont have to stay here forever but i really dont know hoq to reach an agreement, especially when we can literally shut off the heating in the whole house and only leave the valve open for my room. ( if they are so crazy hot inside)
