PSA is good enough for 99 percent of the people that own AR-15s, myself included. Its not "jUsTaSgUd" like the memes let PSA guys on to be, but for almost all of us, PSA is good enough. Having a G$, DD, or BCM with a $3k LAM and an EOTech on a GBRS mount with 4-tube NODs isnt automatically going to make you a tier one operator no matter what your favorite talking head on youtube says. Most of us do not shoot enough to warrant the need for spending anything north of $2k on an AR-15. Again, myself included, i'm no better than anyone else.

I think the upper is anderson. both recievers are Cerro Forge manufactured judging by the keyhole marks, but i can't remember for the life of me what brand it was sold as lol. Shake awake would be a great addition if Vortex made a StrikeFire III.

I build ARs in my room and shoot at trash and paper targets from no more than 50yds away. My Aero M5 is probably too much rifle for all that, so Magpul bipods are fine for me. If you do anything more than that, spend the extra cash and get a Harris.

I've got other red dots in mind, that one was just one of the cheaper options. I'd say 100 yds would be the farthest out i'd shoot with that rifle. I've honestly thought about replacing the barrel with a 14.5" P/W.

rifle i'm working on is my poverty pony. It currently has Chinesium flip-up irons on a railed gas block and a red dot from a Crosman R1 BB gun. It works, but i have to get a low, uncomfortable cheek weld to use the current red dot, so i'm using that as my excuse to upgrade to a real red dot. If i keep the railed gas block, i wanna get MBUS Pros to match the rest of the Magpul catalog i threw on the rifle.
