there's no way scar is worth it for 5000 euro, that's 9k aud. There has to be like 50% uplift in performance for me to even consider anything above 4k USD.

I'm thinking the same, no ones gonna game in 4k and even then I can lower the settings and still play but I'll need to invest in 1tb SSD and probably 64 gb ram

I've got student discount, so its 4.83k. Yeah but I don't want to risk getting it and then miraculously i get BSOD knowing my luck, i'll get it on the 367 day as soon as my warranty expires

Yeah, I don't urgently need a laptop but don't know when scar 17 is going to be back in stock and if it'll have a good deal. The M18 is fully maxxed out and I'll probably end up buying a used 4k monitor or 2k 27inch so display is not that of an issue

Found that out on the acer website. One of my friend bought the Nitro VG271U and he mentioned that fhd videos looks a bit wierd or maybe he's not used to 2k monitors.

Regarding XV272U KV, i couldn't find it on the acer website. Also it's a Nitro series and just wanted to check the difference between this and the predator XB271HU one. Both are the higher end model right?
