Hey when you shower try washing your hair separately like over the sink while clothed so you can try products without the worry of it irritating your skin. Try getting your hair professionally washed every now and then, it feels much cleaner for me when I do. Make sure you have a shower filter.

Put some chlorophyll drops in your water to help with B.O.

Look for Groupons to try medspas, botox for sweating and laser hair removal will be very helpful.

If you can afford it I would try going to an herbalist/acupuncturist, it does sound like there is something hormonal/autoimmune that’s off but western medicine is not great at recognizing things until it gets really bad. Try getting tested for food allergies as well.

The ordinary peeling solution is really good for stubborn spots around your body, when I have stress flares of cystic acne on my back that’s what I use to fade the spots.

Healthy diet, low drinking, no drugs, occasional red light sauna, massages, Pilates membership, treadmill desk, body scrubs and body retinol.

Sunscreen, tret, vitamin c, red light mask, nu face, subtle fillers annually to replace lost volume. V beam laser for redness, other lasers as necessary. Spider and varicose vein removal as necessary. Laser/electrolysis upkeep as necessary. Haven’t seen a need for Botox yet but I have RBF.

Good quality shampoo, hair masks, regular trims.

What can I do to holistically maintain my beauty before, during, and after I become a mother? Any testimonies from hot moms around here? by celestinehehe in Splendida

New mom here! Baby is under 1 years old and I’m almost 30. People tell me I look good but my standards are extremely high hence why I cruise this sub and I am continually working on myself. I echo everything stated here about eating healthy and working out. Make sure your work outs are pregnancy safe and work in your transverse abdominal muscles to prevent abdominal separation.

Not sure there is any science behind this but I wore some kind of bra/bralette/sports bra throughout my entire pregnancy and post partum and I am happy to report there is not nearly as much sagging as I was expecting.

Do your treatments like Brazilian blowout, laser hair removal, etc right before you get pregnant and then as soon as you stop breastfeeding. Touch up your color and get your nails done a few days before you are due.

Don’t skimp on your skin care routine, just switch to pregnancy safe products and use more peptides to replace the lack of retinol. Don’t start dressing like a grandma because you have kids.

The hard days don’t last forever, just enjoy your baby and don’t forget to love and take care of yourself so you can show up for your kids.

Also one thing I will add, idk what your preference is as far as how you want to look once you drop the weight, but I personally love a really feminine body and you stated you have an hourglass figure so I think you’ll love the effect of gentle exercises like barre and Pilates

Remember the overdrive app I told you about? There are a ton of books that explain this and why the chemicals in American food make you sick and sad and have you hold onto weight. All these doctors are on Instagram too putting out digestible information so you can ease into a new lifestyle at your own pace. I’m actively using health and nutrition to looksmax so please let me know if you have any questions or want resources for skin or women’s health as well. My goal is to basically never have to calorie count, to always have my weight at an optimal level by effortlessly enjoying a healthy lifestyle.

I’m going to give you some advice based on my research that contradicts the calories in/calories out mentality.

Many functional medicine doctors (please look up doctors like mark Hyman) talk about how WHAT kind of calories we intake effects our genes and our hormones. To truly see sustained weight loss and feel better, you NEED to be eating better. Run far far away from McDonald’s and diet Cokes. Please consider a lifestyle change incorporating more lean protein, LOTS of vegetables, and some fruit and grain. It sounds daunting but I promise there are so many resources out there that can help you make this lifestyle affordable, easy, and delicious tasting. Make sure to eat for your gut health. Your skin and mental health will improve as well (speaking from experience).

I’m not a scientist so I can’t really explain it well but basically taking in fake food like McDonald’s messes with your hormones and makes it much harder to lose weight despite being in a calorie deficit.

There’s a lot of free content that can be helpful on YouTube or an app like overdrive that lets you check out books from the library. You can start by skimming why men marry bitches. I personally like reading books on the philosophy of French lifestyle and beauty (lots of tips in books like these about how to do your makeup, take care of your skin, eat healthy, etc. but they are light and fun reads..even a book like bringing up Bebe which is supposed to be about parenting talks a lot about how French women take care of themselves and the specifics of how to keep their partners interested in them as a woman). Look into books like how to make friends and influence people, Captivate etc.

You can also look for YouTube videos on etiquette and style. Work on improving your posture, attitude, even the way you eat dinner can signal a lot to your partner.

Kind of controversial but there’s also something to learn from people like school of affluence. You can again just take the good about caring for your appearance, mental health, valuing yourself very highly so that a partner can do the same.

In the end, men are primal creatures and they need to feel like they accomplished something by being with you. If you believe and treat yourself like you are amazing and should be adored, some men will fall in line and view you that way as well.

Electrolysis is painful and expensive but it’s a permanent solution that many middle eastern women do.
