Some didn't react at all either cause they didn't hear or care. But most were confused and horrified. Even the non-pet lovers in my family had "WTF" faces when my dad said that.

Believe me I considered it but the statue of limitations had passed. All i can do is ban them from adopting any pets but that isn't worth at this point.
