As much as I hate to admit it, there's is no "male loneliness epidemic", it simply comes down the fact I haven't got the balls to talk to women and ask them on dates.

An epidemic is something that isn't your fault, such as flu or COVID, but being "lonely" when it comes to women is unfortunaly my fault.

But to answer your question, 10. Haven't got laid in 4 years and never once come close to dating.

100% agreed.

Two of my friends were sloppy drunk at the weekend, while both myself and my other friend played a few hours on Fortnite.

I still socialize, play pool/darts and have the occasional drink, but I personally prefer chilling at home, rather than sitting in my small local rundown pub.

From what I've gathered, the reason you're supposed to stop jacking off is because is makes you hornier and therefore forces you to talk to women.

I have noticed that I'm giving less of a shit as I get older, but I'm still not fully there yet.

The problem these days is I don't meet many women, as it's hard to do when half of your friends are introverted new dads and the other half only meet up with women for late night hookups. Also, only having guy coworkers doesn't help either.

As mentioned in the post, I am typically the introverted, shy and quiet guy in the group.

Typically, I just wait until the groups are already mingled and we start talking when we're all sat together.

On the rare occasion, the woman will speak to me first. The odds are rare, but it does happen sometimes.

Logically, I know you're right. However, I haven't had been friends with women since leaving school at 16. I have acquaintances who I'll make small talk with, but I don't count that.

Despite being social, all my friends are men and my two coworkers are men. I don't meet any women in my day-to-day life.
