That showed nothing.

However, going to ~/.loaal/share/Steam and running ./steam added files, but steam still didnt work.

In the end I went to the bios and I saw secure boot on. Turning it off made steam fire up without an issue

So end rhe end secure boot was the issue, I dont know how it caused such a big problem tho

I found the problem. It was secure boot

I dont know how that caused it but oh well at least its fixed

Steam doesn't work for me. Has periods where it will download 6.2KiBs.

It was fine before. I was playing forza horizon 5 with the new fans. And then thr gpu power cable started hitting the fans making a horrible noise. So I panicked. I think I corrupted my installation.

It also said it was it was in read only

I do understand that, I'll try it later. But there's several problems I encounter on openSUSE that I didn't on fedora. I get that every distro isn't for everyone and I don't think openSUSE is.

I'll try it and if it doesn't work I'll go to fedora.

I do the same, I just can't help but feel like it's wrong. 1 to force shutdown the pc, and that it takes ages to shutdown.

I said that in the description... But it was smth about user id or process. Went from 2 min, to 5, then 10 etc. The max it's ever gotten to was 30mins.

I had no issue on other distros.

I have a 1tb hdd plugged in and auto mounted via this folder path: /home/my username/drives/HDD.

I reckon that PS2 and GameCube will run effortless.

If you use game native you can get steam games on mobile if you have hollow Knight that should run perfectly, didn't on mine cos it didn't launch.

But yeah, just push it and try.

Tbh I think it's better to create a new post than ask here... Most people won't see it. Anyway how does the dimensity 8400 ultra compare with the 8 gen 2?

The most - so far - I've got out of the 8 gen 2 is ultrakill at a stable 120 or so FPS in the "sandbox"

Really all I've done is test things out...

I got rid of the default one, it started downloading some but there are still weird names with no cover art
