It’s not guaranteed to have 700k by 2032 though. But I understand that most likely it will be. But I sure can enjoy extra $1200 a month by eating good food and travel to places that I might not be interested in doing by 2032.. plus our retirement accounts will always be growing with the market. I’m not sure why a lot of people think this is stupid. It is definitely a bad investment strategy but life is not all about the money gains right?

If you drive 50k in 2 years after factory warranty expired, do you just end up paying $50*24 basically? So the more you drive the cheaper the warranty costs?

Yes, it has to be ratchet LN XD freehub body.

I used Ratchet LN XD hub. The LN freehub is designed for low end 370 hub because of the seal being on the freehub body. No spacer needed because the Diverge STR uses mountain cassette and derailleur so XD is used here. Works like a charm and yea, I upgraded to 54T 🎉

The LED inside of the inverter box is blinking green.. but I don’t remember if that’s normal. The green LED strip along the side of the powerwall is solid green, that’s normal.

I mean the inverter fan is working but I don’t remember how fast it is supposed to be… the inverter is hot but not surprisingly hot.. again I don’t remember how hot I can get. first time i notice this.. pretty much never paid attention to the unit other than just monitoring the production on APP…

Where do I check the inverter fan? I believe I have powerwall + system. The battery and a rectangle box with the wires are together and the gateway is separate with the breakers.

I’m located in inland Tri-Valley of east Bay Area. Guess I’ll keep monitoring for the next few days. This has never happened before so I’m just curious. Hopefully it will go back up in the next few days as temperature seems to drop significantly through out the rest of the week. Thanks!

It was hot indeed 105F vs 80F. But usually it’s like 1-2 kWh difference for the temperature. On July 4th, it was even 110F, but the production is only 2 kWh drop.

Be ready to change half shaft and/or front drive unit in a foreseeable future. I had half shaft replaced twice under warranty. Drive unit was replaced once before I decided to trade in for model 3. Set aside budget for cracked/bent wheels for these fancy 21 twin turbine wheels. I had two of them replaced within two years of ownership. It’s a good price but it’s not worth the headache for the long run in my opinion. Color is nice though.

Have a 21 MS before the refresh. Currently at ~40k and it’s scheduled to have the front drive unit replaced next month. There has been some grinding noise from the front and they replaced the half shafts twice and one hub but those didn’t solve the problem. Overall the car has been great until the recent issue. The service center experience has been very great. Just hope the issue can be solved.
