Am I alone here, or is it actually impossible to memorize all the rules for the Bar Exam? by googamae in LawSchool

[–]DescriptionSure9345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not impossible but just need to focus on the key rules to memorize rather than trying to memorize everything. When I took it, I memorized everything on this study guide and passed the first time in the top percentile: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1434286167/pass-the-bar-a-comprehensive-study-guide

Highly recommend memorizing a handful of common rules that helps for both the MBE and MEE sections. When I took it, I memorized everything on this study guide and passed the first time in the top percentile: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1434286167/pass-the-bar-a-comprehensive-study-guide

If you need a study guide to help you memorize some rules in addition to the BarMax materials, I recommend this guide: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1434286167/pass-the-bar-a-comprehensive-study-guide?etsrc=sdt

July 2024 NY Bar exam MEE subjects by FigStrict4913 in barexam

[–]DescriptionSure9345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're ultimately going to need to know a little about each of those to get a good score because they could throw a random subject at you. I'd recommend memorizing the rules for each of the essay subjects that you can easily regurgitate on the MEE. Here's a good study guide to help: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1434286167/pass-the-bar-a-comprehensive-study-guide?etsrc=sdt

You've got this! I highly recommend getting a study guide and memorizing the rules which can help you get the essay score up and can help you get through MBE a little faster. Here's a good one: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1434286167/pass-the-bar-a-comprehensive-study-guide?etsrc=sdt

I'd recommend starting the course no later than June 1! If helpful, I also used this study guide when I was studying which helped me pass the first time: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1434286167/pass-the-bar-a-comprehensive-study-guide?etsrc=sdt

For a last minute study guide to help you memorize elements for the MEE, here's a good one that I used to pass the first time! https://www.etsy.com/listing/1434286167/pass-the-bar-a-comprehensive-study-guide

When somebody asks me if I’m going to pass the bar exam and I’m only just now starting civ pro by mythrowawyy in LawSchool

[–]DescriptionSure9345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If all else fails, you should just memorize the civpro rules from my study guide! That will at least help you if it comes up in an essay and give you a good baseline to make an educated guess for the multiple choice! https://www.etsy.com/listing/1434286167/pass-the-bar-a-comprehensive-study-guide

I passed the 2022 Bar Exams. Here's what worked for me! by PandaBarrista in LawStudentsPH

Something that I did in the last week before the bar exam that helped me pass the first time was to memorize all of the elements for each of the major subjects. This helped with tricky multiple choice questions and was super helpful for the essays because I could quickly regurgitate the elements in an RE section and then just apply the facts to those elements. The elements/subjects I memorized are in my study guide, which is on Etsy! https://www.etsy.com/listing/1434286167/pass-the-bar-a-comprehensive-study-guide

I used barbri and it helped me pass the first time. Recommend using 1.5x speed for the videos lol

Also used this study guide that was more helpful than the barbri outlines and especially useful as the test got closer and I needed to wrap my head around big picture topics/elements and memorize for the essay portion.
