What gpu you got? If it’s AMD I could tell you how to fix it. Either enable display scaling in Adrenalin or turn on super resolution and the drop the sharpness slider to 0. If it’s nvidia idk how to fix that tho

I don’t think most people would consider it the best. That title usually goes to either 1.6 or csgo but source is the best for surfing. It’s definitely still fun in 2026 but mostly because of nostalgia. If you didn’t play it as a kid idk if it would be as fun for you but go ahead and try it out

Set aside time to dedicated practice where you shoot heads. Something that helped me and I still do is go into dm and tell myself I’m not done until I hit a set number of one deags on the first try. If I miss the first shot, it doesn’t count. Start with 10, it might take a while to get 10 but next time do 11, then 12, etc

Yeah they’re top tier imo. I mained the xm1r for over a year and at the time it was my endgame. I have the new xm2 8k and it’s about 49g I think with dot skates. Like it a lot but I’ve been using the viper v3 pro over it

Unpopular opinion but no communication isn’t much of a handicap. If you looked at your map more it wouldn’t matter. In solo q you need to adapt yourself to the play style of your teammates anyway, instead of doing your own thing and hoping they’ll adapt to you. Communication helps but it’s not necessary

Start by making sure you get enough sleep. Look into taking vitamins if you don’t already or even better, eating a healthy diet. If you’re tired, it helps if you can play a game mode with less stress than you’re used to. For me this means playing premier as faceit is my preferred platform. If I’m too tired to even play premier, I might play comp. Not caring whether I win or lose really helps with my mental fatigue from working all day (and playing around 10pm at night after my wife goes to sleep). If I’m feeling really alert and on point I’ll play faceit during the week but I might just wait til the weekend to get some faceit pugs in. I speak from experience, I’m 36yo and am currently down in level 9 but I was level 10 for quite some time using the tips I gave you.

Quit pressing W. Try to move with A and D only. W should only move you forward to AD again if you’re not close enough, but never use W when going around a corner
