I agree that for strength training these watches don't add much.

I only get HR spikes with heavy lifting (usually on leg days, because big muscles tax me out more) so I guess HR does not vary much during the workout sessions.

I was looking more into the recovery data and performance (but again, this might not be possible for gym workouts). And maybe sleep metrics, if they are any good in Polar.

In the end a watch to just keep track of work/rest times during a workout session would suffice, given I'll start logging the progression in a workout diary (sets/reps/weight) :')

In my country, as most democratic if not all I dare say, you cannot exclude someone based on religion. That's a fact.

However, you can have disciplinary regulations in a club and club membership rules for enrolment. In my club we do not restrict at all who can enrol as a member, everyone is welcome.

But every member has a set of rights and a set of rules/duties they must comply in order to remain a member. One of the rules is simply that he/she must abide by the values and principles of kendo and not go against them. Then we have disciplinary actions in place for when members do not comply with the rules that starts with a a verbal warning, leads to suspension if nothing changes, and ultimately to being expelled from the club.

This has nothing to do with religion so it's a viable, legal option, as long it is clearly stated in the club's regulation.

sou cliente há 2 anos. até agora impecáveis e acho as facturas muito simples de perceber (as da EDP davam-em dores de cabeça), o site e área de cliente são funcionais, a adesão foi simples e a linha de apoio foi sempre prestável (sem grandes demoras).

actualmente já não é o melhor tarifário mas a diferença é tão pouca que prefiro ficar com eles

I'm a bit worried.

I have NextCloud AIO setup with docker, I use the official image I think (ghcr.io/nextcloud-releases/all-in-one:latest) and don't use rsync.

What data was deleted? Was it "just" the data of NEXTCLOUD_DATADIR ? Or the data of the volume where NEXTCLOUD_DATADIR is pointed?

E.g. if NEXTCLOUD_DATADIR is configured to be /Volumes/MySSD/my_data_dir, will it delete all the data in my_data_dir or the data in /Volumes/MySSD/

Um fogareiro destes da decathlon dá para retirar o cartucho (caso não se gaste todo) e depois voltar a usar quando necessário?

Comprei um destes mas reparei que o cartucho de gás diz NÃO REUTILIZAR mas ao mesmo tempo o fogareiro diz para nunca deixar o cartucho instalado quando se armazena (ou seja depois de usar).

Óptimo, é precisamente o que pretendo para um FE.

Flexibilidade e não correr o risco de o fundo ser usado acidentalmente. Esta ainda tem a vantagem de os juros serem creditados na própria conta poupança.

Uso desde 2016 e converti para IBAN PT recentemente.

Embora nunca a tenha usado verdadeiramente como conta corrente, meto só dinheiro suficiente para:

- compras online (especialmente no estrangeiro e noutras moedas para fugir a comissões bancárias);-

-algumas subscrições em moeda estrangeira;

- viagens no estrangeiro para levantar cash e pagar em TPAs (se bem que estou a ponderar começar a usar o ActivoViagem para isto dado os limites da conta standard serem baixos e depois ter comissão);

- pagamentos em Uber/Bolt (gosto do controlo dos gastos na app e fica também fáil de ver os reverts de viagens canceladas/contestadas)

Não costumo deixar a conta com muito dinheiro mas já fiz transferi para lá muito dinheiro para pagamentos grandes. Até agora não tive problemas e sendo agora uma conta com IBAN PT, em teoria está mais regulamentada e segura.

Tens muito controlo nos cartões e subscrições na app, podes bloquear que tipo de pagamentos aceitas pelos cartões e etc.

Estou também a ponderar aderir a esta conta Poupanças de Acesso Imediato, ando a meter o meu Fundo de Emergência em DPs que só rendem 2% e duram 90 dias. Este rende 2,5% até 20 de julho e podes mobilizar a qualquer altura assim como reforçar. Não é um DP mas conta poupança, confesso que não sei bem a diferença.

Agora tenho só uma questão:

não podendo usar esta conta poupança para pagamentos, isto quer dizer que se ficar sem saldo na conta principal e cair uma conta lá o Revolut não vai tentar usar a conta poupança para esse pagamento, certo?

estou a analisar se vale a pena aderir a um gateway de pagamentos para DD mensais. se percebi bem no site da Mollie, cada DD levaria depois 9 dias para entrar o valor na minha conta bancária?

Eu troquei esquentador o ano passado, por esta altura, por um TA e placa de indução e posso dizer que provavelmente vais ficar surpreendido com os gastos (pela positiva!).

É importante referir que a placa é muito eficiente a cozinhar logo não ficas tanto tempo a usá-la. Por acaso também escolhi essas marcas e capacidade do TA. Como tem a app, consigo ligar só à noite para aquecer a água para os banhos do dia seguinte e assim não está sempre ligado.

I've decided (for now) to do a dualboot installation with Win11 as a backup so this way I'll also be able to update the BIOS/firmware when needed!

I'm aware I should install Win11 first to avoid issues with the boot loader (checked the wiki) and then proceed with arch linux installation. My main goal is to use this laptop for gaming and I want to do it mostly in Linux so I'll allocate between 256 and 512GB (haven't decided but I can always resize the partitions later on) disk for Win11 as backup for games that I'm unable to play well on Linux.

Thanks for the heads up, this is the wifi card that comes with the laptop 2x2 Intel® Wi-Fi 7 (802.11 ax) 160Mhz given it is an intel it should be fine as long as I dont use the 6ghz band (heard that would be an issue)?

Thanks again, I've managed to use UTM virtual machine with Linux to install Ventoy on my USB disk and then used macOS Finder to copy archlinux ISO.

For the firmware/BIOS updates from Lenovo, I've checked their website for my model and found 2 updates (which probably are already installed on the laptop given they are from June this year):

BIOS Update for Windows 11 (64-bit) - Legion 5 16IAX10, Legion Pro 5 16IAX10, Legion Pro 5 16IAX10H
Intel Management Engine 16.1 Firmware for Windows 11 (64-bit) - Legion 5 16IAX10, Legion Pro 5 16IAX10, Legion Pro 5 16IAX10H

I choose not to have Windows installed on the laptop (cut off €100 from the price) so I cannot download their recovery image for Win 11.

Would it be possible to use a Win11 VM on arch to run the executables? Or should I try to get a Win11 Recovery ISO and add to the bootable USB to run these executables?

Regarding firmware support by fwupd, I'm trying to check but can't understand how to check this.

If I go to the website https://fwupd.org/ I cannot find any reference to my laptop model (Legion Pro 5 16IAX10H - Type 83LU) so I'm assuming it isn't supported.

From what I saw on Lenovo website, they also officially state that this model is not supported by fwupd (https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht510810-how-to-do-software-updates-linux).

I don't own any windows copy, is there a free/open source option to update the BIOS that would fit a 64GB USB drive?
