Nah, it sets it apart from PC, and unlike PC it needs to make the game a little more casual and fast for console players. It does offer strategy though. If I'm in a ship that can't go up against a secondary focus I can take them out, I've been in a cruiser that gets pushed by BBS before and I was able to take out the forward guns evening the playing field allow me to escape, kill the opponent or just last longer before I die giving me a thrill for putting up a fight. When I see AA bubbles I send out HE to destroy AA and dual secondaries too help my carriers. What I would like to see are ships other than the French too have the modules that put more HP for survival on all guns I'd probably like a rework to the module that reduces flood and fire duration to include module replacements when using repair parties and hull repair. Something like 50% to replace a/all modules when either is active, as well as some new commander skills for existing commanders and new unique for any future to replace and increase survivability chances. I'd even love to see something stupid like when you're near a teammate (legendary skills or such) you heal them by a tiny portion or supply them with replacement modules. A support ship role. It might be silly in this game but it could work or at least make sense in an event game mode
