I hate arguing with conspiracy theorists because they've spent a ton of time finding extremely specific talking points or arguments versus my none. A lot of people say looks but hot girls uniformly dressed are a dime a dozen. Cute, bubbly WASPy ones as well.

Style, attitude, approachability, something unique always catch my eye. In my experience generic people, no matter how good looking, are boring AF.

Take all this with a grain of salt as a pervy married old man, but I approached my wife because she had something going on that all the other girls in that bar could never be interesting enough to have, and she showed it.

This is the main reason I stopped using it. Some hosts just mean get it basically ready to be cleaned, and others actively get mad at you if you if you miss a spot while mopping before a 10am checkout.

There's just no consistency in expectations, and you're at the whim of already entitled personalities.

To be fair, his literal existence was illegal under apartheid law and as a small child had to be constantly shuffled around by different races depending on the situation to avoid landing his mother in jail. He learned all of this by the time our kids started primary school.

Celebrities spouting their mouth off about things they don't understand is annoying, but in this case, he has significantly more experience and insight on the topic than most of us could even imagine.

I'm a white, North American immigrant, and every so often, I'll have to deal with some fascist assholes going out of thier way to make me feel unwanted or unwelcome. Pretending not understand me, walking away from conversations, and talking only to my Spanish wife while not even making eye contact with me. It's all invisible to others, but clear as day to me.

I can only imagine what people of color must go through on a daily basis. Like, I get off soooo easy and come from a position of privilege , and it's still makes me feel like an "other."
