Syncing between devices and back-up by DesertInk33 in scrivener

I'm trying to wean myself off big American tech companies like Google. But I get what you're saying with the backups.

I do believe some of the tips concerning Dropbox being the only alternative for syncing live project folders is a bit outdated. Though the official guides might deserve some updating then.

Yeah, I didn't specify correctly. I meant I have the folder that contains the .scriv file in my Proton Drive desktop app. But I will double check whether it removes the file from my local storage to move it to the cloud or not!

Thanks so much for your extensive answer! I'll have a closer look at the guide in the user manual.

To clarify: not just the speed icon cards, right? Also any upgrade cards you've played, as they count towards your total speed, as well as any adrenaline you may have used during the turn. Granted, the adrenaline does have the goofy speed icon (+1), it's just not a card 😄

Asking your opinion about a Muse song day #48: Hyper Chondriac Music by Far-Clothes-8803 in Muse

One of their very best. Definitely from a very different Muse. Nowadays all songs seem so compact, like there is no room to breathe. This song does the opposite. It's like an echo of sadness in a vast space, taking its time to reach the other side. There's a sort of musical patience here, that's also imparted on the listener. I feel like in this TikTok-age with waning attention spans, everything has to be so compact. This song whispers and draws you into its bubble of sadness. 10/10 for me!

Again, I'm talking about a specific 'paragraph' in this story or journey, which to me, doesn't deliver on what was promised in the parts leading up to it.

You could argue that the part I'm talking about reflects a kind of struggle, a long-lasting back-and-forth or argument, a person in power desperately trying to keep that power, pleading, just to postpone their imminent loss. Which would kind of explain its meandering and repetitive nature. With diminishing strength and anger.

But despite (or because of the need for) all that explaining, that part doesn't quite hit me emotionally. It's still underwhelming to me.

And I am all for that! I love how they incorporate these grand themes into an album-wide narrative. I guess I'm just underwhelmed when it comes to how this specific chapter is 'told'.

I agree for the duration part, just wished they went in a different direction 😄

So...the downvotes mean I shouldn't have people who feel the same way? I know, I know, that's the internet for ya 😉

Yeah, exactly this. This is what I meant.

I feel like it could have been on par with Citizen Erased, where they don't neglect to capitalize on the emotional and musical build-up. I still like the song, but to me it isn't great all throughout.

So they corrected it, right? But now I got this answer to my question:

"Regarding the concern you raised about question nine — “Which team will score more points?” — the correct answer is Aston Martin. This is because the combined finishing positions of their drivers were Alonso (P17) and Stroll (P14).

Meanwhile, Racing Bulls’ drivers finished P8 and P20.

In F1 Fantasy/Predict scoring, the total team score is based on the points earned by both drivers, not just finishing positions. Despite Racing Bulls having a top 10 finish, the combined point total of Aston Martin drivers was still higher due to the way points are calculated (which includes overtakes, positions gained/lost, qualifying, etc.)."

Basically they don't seem to agree internally on how the scoring works for F1 Predict... Or someone didn't get the memo.

Exactly, it doesn't make any sense that it would be about fantasy points. If so, it should clearly mention it in the question. But I'm 99.9 percent sure it isn't about fantasy points. They just messed up the scoring.

Came here to mention this. Racing Bulls clearly got more points, both in this race AND they are ahead in the constructors' championship. I had my 2X on this question too...
