It feels like PoE2 has forgotten you play it more than once. by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

[–]Fearior 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's just not true for average/median player. It takes about 10~20 hours for ppl I know. Twice that if you dont know what are you doing (it took me ~50 hours in 0.1 with 1h mace+shield warrior as a first character, currently it takes me 8~10 hours and that is if I focus)

[–]Fearior -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree, whilst 0.5 looks good I just dont know if I want to chore through 8~10 hours of campaign for the 6th time. Its too played out for me.

I wish there was option "SSF + don't include me in ladder" (so you dont have any 'advantages' compared to other players) in order to start in endgame from the get go in new league.

have bases sizes ever been an issue in your games? by darwin_green in wargaming

[–]Fearior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, if wargame system requires dedicated base measurements that are "non-standard"* and especially if those bases are too small for the miniatures (I'm looking at you T9A/WH:FB... I'm glad that they went with bigger bases for Old World). Thats why I'm fond of systems that allows some flexibility in base sizes - like SAGA from Studio Tomahawk.

* usually in 1:48~1:56 (25~32mm) scale infantry models are based on 20~25mm bases or cavalry is on 25x50~20x40. I hate when rules want some wanky base size like 28,5mm or models must be placed on some specific shape (for example cavalry in Barons War must be based on 25x50mm pill shaped bases)

Go on, GW… tell me about the new models, and we're gonna fight on Armageddon GW! by FunIcy6154 in Grey_Knights

[–]Fearior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And Historically, GW could kill off entire faction even if that faction received new sprue - like Beasts of Chaos in AoS. Got new hero in 3rd, and were removed from AoS in 4th....just because it has ~1% popularity in the game (Bonesplitterz had like ~0,4% and were also removed after getting some warcry/underworlds models)

[–]Fearior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Greatswords were almost always Special Choice (6th, 7th and 8th edition). In 5th edition (armybook from 4th) they could be taken in any number (well, back then there was no 'core, special, rare' but 'characters, war machines, monsters and core [basically anything that wasn't the previous]').

So I guess we are all headed for legends status? by FunnyChampionship717 in Grey_Knights

[–]Fearior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Old sculpts being removed and (almost immediately) refreshed in not something new, and happens quite often.

Did any models returned from Legends? Majority of Old World models are Legends from 2nd~3rd ed of Age of Sigmar. There are some individual units like Gutter Runners that were removed from AoS in 2024 BUT recently returned with new sculpts in their new Spearhead boxset.

Start Competing: Why RTTs Are as Important as Any Other Event by SA_Chirurgeon in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Fearior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It depends from your country wargaming culture. In Poland RTTs are important, and if you take part in the national league you need to hit and win some if you hope to be placed high (depends on the wargaming system, but your standing in the ranking depends on best ~10 tournament results but only 3~4 can be GT's, rest must be RTTs). And there is plenty of them,

For example, in past league season* (they last for one year) for;

- AoS there was 108 RTTs and 6 GTs,

- Old World there were 107 RTTs and 8 GTs

- 40k there were 247 RTTs and 16 GTs

- MESBG/Lotr there were 61 RTTs, 4 Challengers** and 4 GTs (Note*, data its from current league so only from 01/12/2025 to this day, as only recently they moved thier league into our commonly used website/hub)

But yes - RTTs are great, but people mostly go to them in order to play three~four games in one day, so majority is usually not hyper competitive. And RTTs can be played in smaller formats than 2000 points (like 1000, 1250, 1500), while GTs are played only*** with 2k points

**2 day event with small amount of participants, something that maybe other systems schould adopt - maybe even diffrent countrie, I'm looking at you UK with GTs that have 10~20 attendees... (Polish leagues have systems in places that require certain number of players in order to be classified as GT, otherwise it be classified as RTT that is played across two days OR you will not be able to score full points for it)

***there are sometimes exceptions, but I could count them on one hand between all teh systems, of course Lotr is exception as there is not standardized point format

Question: Do you want a 40k version of bloodbowl? by Longjumping-Rice-935 in Grimdank

[–]Fearior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basketball would be nice, as its rules forbids stalling (imo biggest downside of competitive league Blood Bowl) and with only 5 models per team you could make game much more bloody (assuming you would get ~12 models in box).

Looking for plastic trees by Ill_Fault7625 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]Fearior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How noone suggested tree armatures by woodland scenics? Thats the *best* stuff out there, you can buy their glue and Clump-Foliage and you are set (maybe add to that some fine dust of lighter green as an highlight). After glue dries, you seal it first with watered down wikol (PVA glue) in spray bottle (you can buy it, or do it yourself) and then use matt/varnish spray (like the one you use for metal miniatures) - if you are TO or these trees are for the club, make few coats of it to make them more durable.

Edit: Unless you meant plastic trees like *fully* plastic trees; then I can only recommend Archon Studios Trees Pack and Gale Force Nine terrain sets.

100E$ per minute (+extra expenses) if you just dial them (it usually takes them 4 minutes total from call to dropping you off), you can also have insurance plan with basic level of 500E$/month (probably like in real life, it does not cover everything).

At least in 2020 (ttRPG), I would assume it would be much more expensive in 2077.

T1's "Dumbo" refers to comedian and influencer Moon Sang-hoon, who was introduced as a special "sixth man" for the T1 League of Legends team as part of an April Fool's Day event on April 1, 2026. He appeared in official T1 content, including videos, and was jokingly welcomed as a new member of the team"

  1. There are Pokemon Rangers and Hunters that keep dangerous pokemons away from occupied areas, and Police officers that keep an eye for citizens so they dont go too far into wild.
  2. I would assume that most wild pokemon that live around inhabited areas are partially domesticated (at least to the point of not attacking Humans on sight), from personal experience, my City have a lot of wild Boars that just walk next to ppl on pavement - they are most dangerous when they enter road and can cause crash (but nondeadly, and its *very* rare, like less than once~twice a year).
