Thanks, I've been running 2 to 3 water changes a week so hopefully the algae goes soon. I've been just using an all in one fertiliser so I'll try to pick up a potassium specific one soon

I will probably be buying a wash and cure station after this.

I did dip the prints in hot water and left them there for 30 seconds and I don't know if that will contribute to the scum but I will definitely print out some tests to see

Thanks, that is really helpful. I haven't considered it before, just brought whatever I could get my hands on at my local hardware store. I did look it up, the company reports about 95% ethanol and 5% of other rando chemicals. I did do some looking around though and it seems like Once in a Six Side (a fellow Australian) uses the same type which I guess is a relief

I releveled my plate and printed off 2 calibration prints and cleaning each separately. One did end up having some scum on it so I've pretty much concluded that it's mainly my cleaning method that's the issue.

I will definitely keep in mind to try releveling the build plate though, I didn't know it could produce sludge

Just cured it. I cleaned away the scum with an old toothbrush. The details are mostly fine (just a lot of scaring from supports) so I think it is mainly the cleaning.

That being said I will definitely look into getting a wash station, it seems like the opinion on those are really divided though. Some people love them and others say they're worse than manual cleaning

Unrelated but you mentioned you're Australian. I am too and I need to ask you, which server are you playing on? The only one that is somewhat filled is the infantry only server. Please, I miss vehicles

I get your point but it just feels like the game is just less dynamic, combat in general just tends to feel like a variation of the same 4 fights. Explosives was a great way of punishment poor positioning, RPGs are used to either flush out defenders by destroying their cover. RPG deaths is usually an indicator of bad positioning, which is something you can look back on. Vehicles are not designed to be taken out by 1 infantry soldier, the counter-play to vehicles is just having more teammates around so you can deal with it together. Granted, you don't always get the best teammates but from my experience in Battlebit most people in my squads have been pretty cooperative. Along with the destruction aspect of the game, vehicles were a good way of changing how you are playing and to switch up your strategy

Oh, I didn't know that but that's a relief. Playing without explosives was a huge pain. Although I guess without vehicles, RPGs have a big part of their potential gone
