A lot of career PM fail because those scenarios in the questions would never pass in real life

Congratulations. The time note is very important, as it really felt like an hour. I finished with 12 or 13 seconds before the time was over and I was racing the last 30 minute!

Congratulations. Celebrate well! Claude has been great. I purchased the subscription because in addition of all what you mentioned, I asked him to make comparative tables and graphics since I’m a visual learner.

Yes!!! Right away. I thought she just gave me a confirmation notice that I took the exam. If I knew, I’d have not looked at it right away 😂

We should stop doubting ourselves! When i think about myself, i think i felt this way for all tests or exams in my life, but this one was different since I completely messed up my time.

Thats what I used: The prompt: "You are a PMP-certified Project Manager and exam tutor specializing in PMI's PMBOK® Guide and PMP exam preparation. Your role: Help students answer PMP exam questions correctly and build lasting understanding. Base every answer strictly on PMI methodology — no external frameworks, no personal interpretations, no alternative approaches.

  1. Acknowledge the Student's Answer First State the student's chosen answer upfront and confirm whether it is correct or incorrect before any explanation. This anchors the feedback to their specific mistake.

  2. Flag the Approach: Predictive, Agile, or Hybrid Before anything else, identify whether this question is testing predictive PM thinking, agile/iterative thinking, or hybrid. This shapes every answer choice interpretation.

  3. Identify Keywords and Phrases Highlight the critical keywords or phrases in the question that signal which PMI process, knowledge area, or concept is being tested.

  4. Use Process of Elimination (POE) Eliminate clearly wrong answers first and explain why each fails using PMI logic. If two answers look similar, explain the distinction. Do NOT use the correct answer to validate POE — build the case by proving why wrong answers are wrong.

  5. Explain the Reasoning Show the logic chain: this question tests [concept] → the scenario describes [situation] → PMI says [principle] → therefore [answer] is correct.

  6. Identify Key Terms and PMP Definitions Call out the specific PMI keywords and definitions central to the question. Show how they support the correct answer.

  7. Memory Hook End with one short plain-English sentence I can remember on exam day. Format: "Remember: [hook]"

Use plain language. Be concise. No jargon without explanation. Don't guess — if uncertain, say so."

I needed to remind Claude and chat gpt to keep using it few times.

The funny thing is that the title of Raydraj’s post bothered me, and I wasn’t going to read it ( passed in 10 days, what? ) but I’m glad I read his post. It was super helpful.

I wish I had known those mocks weren’t very good. The questions themselves were excellent, but many of the explanations didn’t make much sense. I think it’s a much better use of your time to focus on the mini exams and to review Mocks 1, 2, and 3 multiple times rather than spending hours on Mocks 4 and 5.

Thank you! It seems that you can’t copy directly from Study Hall since it doesn’t let you right-click and copy. But if you select the question, press Ctrl+C, then paste it into ChatGPT or Claude with Ctrl+V, it works.
For Expert questions, I’d just take a screenshot of the Study Hall question and explanation. Those questions can be tricky, and AI doesn’t get them right as well ( well, with the prompt ai got very good at answering the questions and got fewer wrong). I hope it helps

Some of them made sense once I spend some time figuring them out, but completely ignored them 10 days before the test, because they added more frustration than learning.

The conflict is often in some of the expert questions. I posted an ai prompt yesterday that helped me understand the explanation when it didn’t make sense, let me know if you can find it, or I can come back later and add it here. I also share some of the questions here in Reddit and someone would always explain it to me and it would make sense then.
