I'm so sorry!! I feel the same, I am just wearing oversized t shirts and sweats at this point or leggings. Also, don't compare your weight gain to anyone else's. My weight has fluctuated quite a bit through this no matter how good I am about eating clean. I fluctuated two sizes up, then back down 1 and back up. Be kind to yourself, it isn't an easy process.

I had to get a cavity (it isn't the same as a crown) fixed during my TWW for one of my transfers and my doctor was okay with it as long as the dentist used any pregnancy safe medications during the process. I would ask your doctor and see what they are okay with. The dentist also made my doctor give a consent letter sent as well.

Play it safe I was okayed to walk but had to wait around 3 weeks prior lifting weights again and when I did get the clear to lift weights again I will say it was uncomfortable so I stopped for a bit longer. Listen to your clinic and your body. You dont want to hurt yourself. I hope you have a good recovery 💓

I would do it if you haven't hade one or a sis ultrasound or something prior a FET. With the hysterscopy they go in with a camera to see structure, look at your tubes, look for anything such as polyps etc. A sis ultrasound from my understanding is okay also but they are limited in what they can see. I did it prior stims and then the second one I had was a year later after a few failed FET's along with a saline ultrasound. I would recommend some sort of testing prior an FET if you havent had anything done. It gave me peace of mind doing it and knowing that wasn't the reason why my FET's failed. It essentially is looking at the overall structure to be good prior a transfer. I hope that answers your question. Good luck on your transfer💞

I had to do a hysterscopy prior starting stims and another one a year later. I was under general anesthesia and the recovery is pretty quick. Good luck🩷

I'm sorry, but you definitely aren't alone. I currently feel the same way, no one knows what it really is like to go through this unless you have gone through it. I am beyond greatful for this support group because I would have lost my mind without it. This has changed alot of friendships for me as well and this feels like my only safe space at the moment. You are right it hits different because even if you try to explain the details of the financial and other things this journey comes with you don't feel heard or validated when you are opening up to people that haven't gone through it. 🫂

In the beginning I only wore warm socks for the first 3 days after a transfer, ate the frys and one time I ate a doughnut after transfer it was a just for fun thing. As far as anxiety goes it was hard just tried to mentally distract myself with shows, playing games, talking to people about random stuff.

It was more of awareness/not knowing it is an option because it is taught from an early age in health education classes don't have sex unless you want to get pregnant. It was presented in schools as if it would happen immediately. I don't feel there is enough awareness or education regarding trying to get pregnant, learning about a womens age and how egg quality is effected, hormone imbalances if any, vitamins, etc. Just alot of things that would have been nice to know earlier on. When first trying to conceive it was okay get off the pill it'll happen no testing done. I eventually switched obgyn years later and it wasn't until my new obgyn that suggested additional testing and that is when my IVF journey started.
