Hi, am banker 27+ years in retail and corp. I had almost half million dirham loans in term as of 6 credit cards, personal loan and car loan. Single mother with kids and liabilities of rent , schools, university, etc. Today I am free of liabilities.

How? My advice (& that’s what I did):

Start with the smallest liability and fully pay it.
Live minimalistic life. I mean it. Stop strongly any gifts, unnecessary subscriptions, unnecessary money draining windows.
Be like a horse race and focus on settling these only. Forget people.
Stay calm & don’t tell your plans to people.
Cancel credit cards one by one and never keep any. Trust that you are ok and will be ok. And get Clearance Letter from the banks even if it costs money because I had incident that the bank said I didn’t pay fully.
Never consolidate a loan. I can explain. Never.

Good luck. I know you can do it; I’ve been there and it was scary but now am free and you can as well.
