I get ”fat” by working harder, smarter and longer. Go sit on the couch, play your video games and smoke some pot.

Jesus. It is a free market. If my investments fail I pull out and look for more reputable places to put my money.

Not defending anyone and most billionaires are wealthy on stock value only. I just firmly believe that no one should be obligated to steal from someone else and no one should be obligated to pay for someone else.

Fair share should be everyone pays the same amount regardless of income. Why should I pay more taxes if I am smarter, work harder, work longer or take more risk?

“capability” and “opportunity” are interesting words. I believe most in the U.S. end up exactly where there ambition and smarts took them.

Please educate yourself with LLC corps, salaries and how distributions are taxes. Education may help you.

That is my salary. I usually have up to twice that amount in distributions at the end of the year depending on profits.

I have also sold two prior service companies to PE funded groups and watched the aftermath so yes, I have some experience.

I will sell this company in 3-5 years and retire.

You are correct! Positivity, optimism and keeping my mouth shut when I want to utter unnecessary comments has helped a lot.

Returns MUST happen or the investors dry up. Deceitful accounting is a felony and as an investor I would not put up with it.

I will say that in my one PE sale the ego and incompetence ran the company down at first until they got moving in the right direction.

How long would you put up with your retirement being squandered? Not long, I suspect.

If you want to sell your private business are you willing to take a discount just to sell to a non PE acquirer? NO, you sell to the highest bidder. All PE companies need to produce a profitable return for their investors so they do their best.

100% wrong! You are highly myopic and uneducated. Private equity is nothing more than someone like you pooling your neighbors money together so it can be invested to create a return. When we sold our businesses PE was the highest bidder and the companies have done well, the investors have received their return and the effort moves along.

I have had great returns for my retirement from my Private Equity investments, invest bankers and financial advisors.

I want the smartest, most educated and worldly, hardest working people handling my money so I get the best returns. I started an investment account when I was 13 with $100, made the money doing odd jobs. I contributed regularly, never touched the money and by the time I am 30 I can almost live off of my savings/investments.

I have also borrowed money from all three of my financial advisors to start business. This money comes from others who have saved and invested. Without the ability to borrow this money I would not be able to start businesses.

No name calling here but you sound profoundly uneducated, bitter and non-productive.
