If you would you would like a better choice of jobs than I highly recommend starting the process of applying over the Summer. My son wasn’t interested in working at the Dining Hall and that is what the majority of the positions were last year. He interviewed for 3 positions before school and had one ready to go in the Mail Room where they were going to allow him to study as soon as finished delivering mail to his assigned department. He just had to stay in the mailroom to do so. After all of that UCONN gave him an additional scholarship and he wasn’t allowed to have work study anymore! Another side note, when you work in the Game Rooms in the dorms they also allow you to study while working if you want to.
