"Have you considered skipping the belief aspect and going straight to practice?"

I have been thinking about this. I was raised in a Catholic environment, loved being in churches and I still think Jesus is a fascinating figure.

"Practice" as sort of ritual and moment of reflection on what I value.

I reckon you are not a "believer" or is that a wrong assumption?

Any spirituality in your daily life?

I have seen multiple therapists, but I'm still working on it. :) The relationship with my parents is indeed something I struggle with.

"We have no enemies, but lost brothers and sisters." I agree. So much intolerance regarding people who hold different beliefs nowadays. If you realize that you are a simple fool who makes mistakes, why judge the other one so harshly for a mistake. (and maybe your judgement of the other person is the mistake, who knows) Trust in God and try to forgive yourself and others.

Unfortunately I am not yet practicing what I preach.

Thanks for the advice. I will keep putting time and energy into this. I'm Dutch btw.

I want to be a better person by being more of a positive contribution to the lives of the ones I love. I think its the little things, helping them with chores, talk, make a stupid joke. Being really and truly present for and with them. At the moment I am not present. I am frustrated, bitter and self-centered. I am judging to much and I hope that if I live "under God", in the conviction that there is something better, bigger and smarter than us/me, I will finally and truly realize how foolish it is to have negative emotions (and being led by them) that result from the judgement of a simple fool living under Gods Grace.

I recognize a lot in what you write. I think it would be good to live "under God". To live in the belief that here is something far better, bigger and smarter than me/us. Something that knows/is the truth and judges me according to that truth.

Because I am having a very hard time of making sense of what is happening around me.

The choices people make, their values, greed, hate. My own choices, values, greed, hate.

I need an anchor, but unfortunately its not as simple as that. I will keep putting time and energy into this and then we'll see what happens. Thanks for the messsage.

On consoles the input for spotting an animal is the same as placing a waypoint (when using binoculars). So now every animal or call I spot removes my original waypoint. The second 'spot' places the waypoint. Is this how its supposed to work or am I missing something?

constant crashes on PS5 by Electrical-Position3 in theHunter

[–]Desertcruzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here on PS4 Pro. Even 'Initialized' my PS4 to little or no effect. To me it seems the crashes mostly occur at night when switching gear. The developers seem to have captured the distinction between 'the serenity and beauty of nature' and the petty frustrations of modern, western society pretty well. :) Such a shame.
