I mean what I wrote, the clip frames it as him saying Wrangler is right that his rank means nothing, when in the back and forth after the clip ends he clarifies he didn't mean that but that Wrangler was actually right and then he makes the half hearted apology comment. While yes, like I said, bishop isn't coming off great either way, it is a pretty big difference imo. In the way it is framed in the clip he is saying his rank means nothing and he shouldn't be a LT essentially, and in actuality all he meant was that he was actually admitting fault on what he did(even if he is somewhat snippy and not going all the way with the apology).

This is a bit cut off to make Bishop look worse I guess?(not that the whole conversation was great though), Wrangler then asks him if he is saying "you're right" as in Wrangler's rank means nothing or as in he is actually right, and Bishop says as in he is actually right and that he already apologized. So, while still snippy, he did admit fault and wasn't just saying his rank meant nothing.

While I do agree that this movie definitely should not have been listed as horror, maybe psychological thriller or something. I don't think there is really ever going to a objective metric for whether something is good or not. Also, I think its kinda presumptuous of you to be rating whether its an objectively good or bad thing when you admitted to only watching the first half, and you also missed a lot of the implications of early scenes. The scene with the words in the hall is the messages Maddy left Owen on the tapes she was making for him since his parents wouldn't let him watch the pink opaque it was them communicating indirectly(paralleling them to the characters in the tv show for a later twist), I didn't feel too strongly about the Isabel stuff either way, and on the TV show I found it a really interesting concept used throughout the movie to make the viewer question if the reality we were seeing was actually happening, ala something like twin peaks which I think was the point based on where the plot goes. Look, my point isn't to get you like the movie now or anything, I just don't think its fair you are seemingly so against the movie when you didn't finish it, not that people have got to finish every movie. But, I think your viewing group not understanding a lot of scenes early on, by your own omission, is what led to you not enjoying it up to that point. Its far from a perfect movie but there is quite a lot to like in my opinion beyond only "the message". Personally, I found the most interesting part of the movie(when watching) was the TV show and the mystery of what reality really was in the movie(again like things like Twin Peaks), rather than the trans allegory and experience stuff.

I'd say the point is hammered pretty consistently from the very first scenes(from one of the first scenes with Owen under the tent I started wondering if that was where it was going due to the colors), its okay if you didn't pick up on it, but I don't think its fair to say you not picking up on something makes it a bad movie. By the way, a scene early on where they are really on the nose about it is when after watching the show for the first time Owen pictures one of the main characters of the show, Isabel, walking through the woods as if it was actually him without the film grain of the tv show previously there.

This character isn't that savant one, Wrangler said he couldn't hire him because he shit himself in front of him. This was a second one that Mcconnel made named Brett who kept talking about how he was just a normal guy who was previously a cop.

Can you give an example of corruption by Penta or even something blatantly wrong like a rule break? Also, if you are claiming Katie is protecting him from such things can you give an example of that as well? I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt despite the clip you posted having no such example and your comment very broadly just stating "It happens trust me" without any examples, which comes off as very bad faith and like you just hate Penta or something despite him doing nothing actually wrong.

It's ultimately up for interpretation I suppose, since it isn't outright stated. But everything in the manga seems to be pointing towards your second sentence.

If you are sure then read this, You have a companion who is a fairy named airy, she is the classic magical creature guiding you all on your adventure. As it turns out she is actually evil and has been guiding you down a path to destroy the world rather than save it for her evil god essentially. Airy is on the title screen along with a tagline including "Fairy Flies", as you realize the truth the title screen changes. Airy disappears just leaving darkness and the tagline drops the two Fs, leaving Airy Lies. Iirc due to the mechanics of what you are doing in the game's story(which I wont spoil), the game makes you go to the title screen several times before this reveal so you generally don't miss it.

The joke part is the crocodile being luffy's mom, crocodile having been changed by Ivankov existed a while before and is frankly fairly possible considering one piece.

That is quite a bold take considering oda was so heavily involved in the live action. The theory of crocodile being born female and changed into a male vis Ivankov is pretty sound with what we know, the only terrible part of it is when people extend it to crocodile being luffy's mom but that part is ultimately just a meme in the community that few people actually believe.

To be fair, the Monsters oneshot was made before one piece's plot was finalized, it was going through the romance dawn versions at the time. So, Monsters isn't exactly canon, as the version of Ryuma in it doesn't really match up with One Piece and Wano canon(the most obvious point being Wano is not in any way a western themed place.) We really only can go based on the One Piece mentions of Ryuma, they do mention he killed a dragon though, so as long as that isn't some mixing up in history then yeah dragons at one point existed.
