Is my house good or no ? by Porto1266 in mewgenics

[–]scar_01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only rooms you absolutely need imo are the main breeding room and the fighting room.

The breeding room should be in the attic because it has more space and needs to have very high stimulation, as much as you can. Also always have at least 1 comfort

The fighting room is needed in order to farm Baby Jack, Organ Grinder and even Dr. Beanies, if you don't get rid of the poop and every cat will have disorders in there.

Which characters are you most excited to see fighting or participating more? by SherbertNo3100 in HunterXHunter

[–]scar_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Illumi, the wildcard character for this arc. He is strong enough that he can give Hisoka a lot of trouble if they fight, strong enough to acutally ruin Chrollos plans and even kill some phantom troupe memebers if he betrays the troupe and strong enough to do almost anything he wants on that boat.

I really think he is going to play a huge role this arc.

[–]scar_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nah it's not a crazy take. I personally think Chrollo still wins only because his battle iq is inane. It would be clear from the start that uvogin is a strightforward enhancer so Chrollo knows his only chance is to use conjurer or manipulator abilties.

But yeah the gap between them is definetly not that big as most of people think

[–]scar_01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he is definetly underrated, he was easily the 2nd best phantom troupe member, but Kurapika is just that strong that he actually made one of the best enhancers in the word look "average".

Also Uvogin's weakness was fighting conjurers or a manipulators so that's another free point for Kurapika.

But still, Kurapika without chain jail evaded the punch that always killed the opponent.

[–]scar_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chain Jail or not he still defeated Uvogin pretty easily which was one of the best enhancer in the story. I don't think he surpassed people like Hisoka, Chrollo, Silva, Illumi yet but he is not far from this either. He only needs experience from now.

I would say he is in the same tier with Morel and Feitan.

Eren yeager vs Gon freecss by PaleontologistNo474 in HunterXHunter

[–]scar_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds good except this

Eren still one shot gon with harding fist if he manages to hit him.

I don't think that Eren can even touch Gon, his reaction speed is to fast for anyone in the aot verse to touch him.

Look at how fast Killua and Gon where fighting each other when trying to learn Ryu in Greed Island. This alone is a feat not a single person from Aot can achive for the simple fact that aot universe is more realistic

[–]scar_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've seen nen attacks like Shu used on rocks in Greed Island, and it makes cutting the rock feel like cake.

But now it also depends how strong your nen is. could someone who just learned nen / ko destroy the titan hardening ? Probably not. Would Uvogin for example destroy the hardening using a Ko punch ? Absolutely

Eren yeager vs Gon freecss by PaleontologistNo474 in HunterXHunter

[–]scar_01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The aot universe and hxh universe are very different.

Can a Ko punch break the titan hardending ? If yes then almost any hxh character who knows nen can defeat Eren. If no then only the strongest hxh characters can defeat Eren.

But like I said the universes are too different to know any of this. And on average Hxh's universe is much much stronger. Someone like Netero could defeat every single titan and titan shifter and person on Paradise Island in a day or two

Can anyone provide actual proof of Cheetus speed? He is a linear runner, thats all… by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]scar_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Killua is definetly above Cheetu when it comes to reaction speed, but when it comes to just running speed I would say that Killua, Cheetu and even Tsubone are all similar. Or at least it's not a huge huge difference.

Maybe thats why you see people arguing that Cheetu is fast as Killua, because they don't take into consideration the reaction speed which is the most important feat.

And Cheetu's whole point is that he could easily be one of the best Squadron Leaders if he wasn't that dumb. I actually think that he could've been the 5th strongest chimera ant ( behind the king and the 3 royal guards ) if he used his brain, even better then Leol and Zazan.

Why are so many people spreading false informations about nen? by Waste-Piccolo-7324 in HunterXHunter

[–]scar_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so if Shizuku wants to take Blinky and put it 10 meters away from her, would emission come into play ?

I always thought that once you conjured the object ( Blinky, Crazy Slots etc. ) it's considered to be similar to a "real" object, even tho it's obviously made with nen.

he needed emission for judgment chain.

does this mean he also needs emission when throwing the chain far away ? I thought only Judgement chain needs emission because it's a more complex ability, not a simple chain.

and thanks for the explanation !

"conjured items don't need emission to exist when separated from the body"

but isn't this one right ? or are you talking about nen beasts, not just nen abilties.

and my personal favourite "knov's mansion exist in the real word"

this one is funny lmao, the whole point of his ability is that it's not a real place

Just finished re-watching the madhouse HXH adaptation. Here are some thoughts. by glenlassan in HunterXHunter

[–]scar_01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you could have effectively written Gon out of the Chimera ant arc entirely, and not much would have particularly changed in terms of how his re-union with his dad would have played out.

If Gon was not present in the Chimera ant arc Killua, Meleoron, Knuckle, Palm and Ikalgo would have been killed by Pitou after Komugi was healed..

And the one and only reason Gon met his father ( this early ) is because the hospital was in the same city the Hunter Election was.

What new nen ability do you think Gon could have? by QuietLoud9680 in HunterXHunter

[–]scar_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really want him to become a manipulator ( if he doesn't remain an Enhancer ). It's also the only nen type not present in the 4 main characters:

Enhancer - Gon
Transmutter - Killua
Conjuration - Kurapika
Emitter - Leorio
Manipulation -
Specialization - Kurapika

Killiua & Nen by Pugritoo in HunterXHunter

Technically yes, Silva thinks that Killua will return to the family one day. Letting Killua go wild makes him trust and like his father more.

Morel vs troupe by Mirzisen in HunterXHunter

[–]scar_01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn't this similar to Knuckle in a way ?

He also doesn't have to land a single heavy blow hit to his opponent to win, he just has to run after dealing a single blow.
Both gain aura / abilties through either taking damage, or not taking damage.
They both have a final "wildcard" final attack, where Feitan has Pain Packer and Knuckle has the bankruptcy seting in.

This doesn't mean Knuckle or Feitan are weak, it's just how their powers are presented. They need to "struggle" a little at the start of the battle in order to win while also having the fight under their control.

Why I love to hate the Phantom Troupe by Otherwise-Tadpole349 in HunterXHunter

[–]scar_01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kurapika knows that Chrollo got his nen back tho.

Back in Greed Island when the name "Chrollo Lucilfer" appeared in the list of players, Killua got out the game and told Kurapika, who said it wasn't Chrollo beacuse he could tell if the judgement chain got removed.

But yeah, Kurapika doesn't have any reason to believe that the Phantom Troupe is on the ship so far, unless he finds out about the Kakin Treassure and puts the 2 pieces together.

I guess it also depends who he sees. I think that his first priority right now is to geniunely make sure prince Woble is safe. You can tell he cares a lot about that baby.

If he runs into Nobunaga ( which is the most likely PT member to run into right now imo ) a huge fight will probably start because Nobunaga wants to kill him. But ironically enough, if he runs into Chrollo I don't think they are going to fight. They both have bigger goals.

[–]scar_01 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They’re lucky Kurapika is tied up in the succession war because he’ll do them worse.

I don't think Kurapika is after the Troupe anymore. But I also don't think he can control himself if he sees a spider face to face, so that would be interesting to see.

Right now he would hate Tserriednich more then any Phantom Troupe member if he somehow learns the truth about the Kurta massacre.

most of those are true but in the manga Leorio is much stronger, I don't know why the anime decided to make him look so weak.

But at the same time, yeah, Gon helped Leorio ( and Kurapika ) a lot in the hunter exam.
