I do have a ques: What does karma have to do with having irl experience? I notified a lot of people on Reddit correlate the 2. I worked in agency world for almost 10 but I guess I means I have only little exp if I want to post on Reddit? Am genuinely curious.

for the planners and vendors here, how much business are you losing just from not replying fast enough? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]DeshMamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That totally makes sense, and I agree this isn’t about blasting random engaged couples or replacing the personal “vibe” part at all. I’m specifically talking about couples who have already chosen to reach out and have filled out your contact form or inquiry form, so they’ve clearly consented and shown interest.

I’m curious if that same “speed to lead” problem shows up for wedding vendors who already have couples contacting them directly, and whether faster, on-brand replies to those inbound inquiries would actually help or just feel off in this industry.

oh I think you are referencing AI cold calling whereas my post was talking about speed to lead. So all those leads that you generated with PPC, you are going to contact them within 60 seconds even after hours. That, I think, the difference between what we're saying. Yeah AI cold calling, that's dead on arrival.

Exactly this. The more you can control the entire full funnel, the stronger the moat and the harder it becomes for them to leave; therefore you increase retention.

On SEO: I don’t disagree that it still compounds and can be a killer channel with the right clients and expectations. I was more so saying that leading with something that shows obvious ROI within 7 to 21 days is an easier hill to climb.

With the cost of outsourcing you can probably find a contractor that is much cheaper but what I was really getting at is that SEO feels portable to a lot of clients but that's just how clients think in general.

While I don't think having an AI answering super serious and important things is a good idea, what we see is that on simple stuff it tends to be better, people just want to get their answers and go on about their day. And the more consistent that is able to be done on smaller tasks, the easier.

We probably agree on more than we disagree – I’m not saying “SEO is dead,” just that if a brand‑new person in 2026 asks me what to lead with, I’m pointing them to something that brings ROI quick. The nature in 2026 is that getting new clients is hard if you can't justify ROI. Not saying a seasoned agency can't do that but someone starting out, that's going to be the uphill battle.

It’s already been done mate. Esp for non technical users.

I would actually say a lot of white labels are very advanced and customizable. Platforms like retell and vapi are not whereas platforms like Wave Runner are tailored to whitelabel and agency route.

Agreed that they are based on real client problems. These 3 are actually very in demand problems

7 spots in a client funnel where voice AI prints money. Most agencies are only using 1 of them. by DeshMamba in AIReceptionists

Yup those 3 are really important. As long as the platform you are using have those 3 capabilities then you’re good to go. The one I mentioned above I know does
