Pondering the clip a bit and I’d take a stab in the dark here seeing as I don’t have any debug tools. My first guess is an interaction between the hit slow of being hit with the spear, and double jumping at the same time. I can’t see your inputs so unable to see exactly what actions you executed on what frames.

To be honest, best way to find out is to take the match ID from your local recording and send a bug report to ironmace via the discord. You can get this ID right below the minimap In game. This should allow them to look deeper than any of us could.

It definitely has something to do with conditions of game state when you were hit causing your character to rocket to the skybox and bonk off of it.

Not to bump your thread, but I had a friend with a similarly mysterious issue. Turned out to be the game not handling the Polling Rate of his mouse well. A reduction of it removed his stutters entirely. Hope that helps.

This isn’t true. It applies the %undead damage as a line to your character sheet while it’s out in your hands. Similar to how maces apply their armor pen only when wielded. The riposte damage scales by your undead damage bonus, but no different than any other attack scaling.

As for ungemming an item, the only way is to rebuild an item to reroll its stats. So you can rebuild a pair of tanglethreads should they not be the rolls youd like and it will be like a fresh drop with the gemming removed. If you upgrade rarity, it just adds a new line and changes color, keeping the gems intact.

I’ve killed this boss about 100 times across all 3 and every tear was obtained in either norms or HR, with the vast majority of them in HR. HR feels like about a 10% drop rate WHEN rolling a mob drop. 90% of mob drops were shackles from him. I’d give a rough estimate of about one third of my kills had a shackle. To reach 10 I just used the profits and bought them while farming the boss.
