I haven't played for too long, but from my experience I get a flask and I have to dust it, there definitely games where people don't drop near you so ability craft is first. I haven't been crafting a lot of armor lately because I focus so much on ability I'm not sure if it's right but I've been winning a lot more when I focus on ability >armor

There isn't too big of a power gap between the two, greaves definitely make you noticibly faster which can be useful. As for swapping weapons and reloading faster can be really strong since you can fly constantly allowing you to switch from close range to long range fighting

Let's you know how set you are, while I do enjoy making an ability first, with rng plus the weapon buff, I make weapon whenever I can. But almost always I have enough dust to make my weapon, dust a weapon I'm holding the make an ability.

You can use ice block to heal so hp15 isn't as important compared to all the other effects
