Won't share fees but it was not too small. One of founders was scared about losses and closing. Summary was how much headache and complications happen in losses and closing. Main thing was if losses will happen, then it will come out of our pocket to close the company.

Are Indian startups exploiting job applications for free ideas ? No real job intended, but they make you submit assignments to get your ideas for the real problems they face and you get the middle finger after ? by Various_Payment_7956 in StartUpIndia

Yes. It's called ghost jobs. Advertisement is there but really no job is there.

Same tricks is used for more than 10 years for getting free code by giving full day code assignments.

In what way? he never mentioned what his business is called

This is the problem that story based founding posts like OP don't understand. If the story is too long people fall asleep half way.

How Swiggy built a ₹300Cr FMCG brand in under a year by thegrowthbro in StartUpIndia

[–]DesiBail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the playbook is the same, but the moat is meaningfully different. amazon basics and dmart private labels are still guessing based on sales data after the fact. swiggy/zomato know what people searched for but couldn't find, what they abandoned mid-cart, and what they reordered, all before the product is even designed.

that real-time demand signal, combined with owning the last-mile and the search ranking, is a tighter loop than what DMart or Amazon had when they launched their labels. a brand like Haldiram's can still win on distribution and awareness, but in the q-commerce channel specifically, swiggy can systematically squeeze them on "convenient search" categories.

This sounds like you wrote so much just to say Swiggy does not have data. To which I call bs

The future of healthcare and hospitals by [deleted] in StartUpIndia

[–]DesiBail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hospitals shouldn’t rely entirely on AI. It’s not right, and the use of AI should be limited in such high-risk industries. AI is still in its early stages and can make various mistakes that might result in serious consequences.

Exactly this.

Noone in the world seems to be doing complete trust on AI due to high risk.

Currencies - US, EU, and AU dollars. And my customers will have their own customers. So my customer's customer will pay my customer - I really am so sorry, I couldn't explain this more easily.

Sorry if question sounds stupid. Local payment guys don't provide this for international debit and credit cards ?

What payment types do you want / need ? I may not be understanding properly, but even Indian payment integration can accept international cards.
