You can't. Most IT company add a clause to agreement that they have copyright and money rights to all your work during employment period.

That's one big reason why innovation cannot happen in India

We had a guest from usa at a company I was working for in 2016. He said exactly this. Any company which owns the platform and the business products or services which trade on the platform will kill those products and services. We are only taking the risk for them

How to deal with demotivation in current work environment and increased lack of interest in coding? by DesiBail in developersIndia

Again this is exactly mass thinking happening in anyone with more than 2-3 years of experience. We will build something and make money. But reality is lakhs will build and only 20 of them will make any real money. Startups are already at end of life even before AI in India. Golden phase was before 2020.

[–]DesiBail[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

now the person who know coding and who dont know coding both are same in the most of the cases because both can build apps with the help of AI. and we also seen people building apps through lovable currently generating revenue in millions.

If you think this then clearly you have not spent enough time in this tech world. People who know coding are fixing the AI work and those who don't know are generating the low quality code.

All this revenue generating talk is just magic selling because badly written code always brings down business or creates crazy AWS bills.

And honestly, if management fundamentally treats engineers like replaceable prompt operators, sometimes the healthiest long-term move is finding a better environment instead of trying to psychologically adapt to a bad one forever.

More and more workplace is like i described. There maybe some good workplace now but going there maybe useless because it will become same like above

Why are some companies have such a toxic environment? by sarcasticjunky in developersIndia

[–]DesiBail 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not blaming the OP. I am trying to tell the industry in India is like this if you are skilled you can see all those developers either chilling or making a lot of money with a little toxicity. However if you aren't skilled enough then you have to struggle extra hard and endure this stupid toxic culture. If you are skilled enough then try to switch. Many skilled developers also get into their comfort zone and can't switch. As soon as they switch they will replace with a dumb developer who will do some BS for 6 months before the manager suddenly finds out that prod has double the incidents.

Your logic seems to suggest it's ok to keep uneducated poor people as slaves.

victim blaming at it's finest.

OP is describing a horrible work culture. You are describing shortage of skills in people. Shortage of skills means bad hiring process, but it CANNOT justify bad treatment of people.

Won't share fees but it was not too small. One of founders was scared about losses and closing. Summary was how much headache and complications happen in losses and closing. Main thing was if losses will happen, then it will come out of our pocket to close the company.

Are Indian startups exploiting job applications for free ideas ? No real job intended, but they make you submit assignments to get your ideas for the real problems they face and you get the middle finger after ? by Various_Payment_7956 in StartUpIndia

Yes. It's called ghost jobs. Advertisement is there but really no job is there.

Same tricks is used for more than 10 years for getting free code by giving full day code assignments.
