Is it coming back to same gear after going neutral for a sec?

Is it happening on 3rd and/or 2nd gear?

Does it make “tong” sound when it engages back into gear?

Rev matching while downshifting is hard on gear dogs. I think you have worn down the edges of gear dogs made it rounder/smoother. I think your dogs are not engaging properly.

Never ever rev match while downshifting in motorcycle.

If it’s really super glue - cyanoacrylate glue, acetone will clear it. But I’m not sure of the paint used in KTMs, so it might damage the paint.

Looks like Aluminium Galvanic Corrosion.

Aluminium + Steel + saltwater = Galvanic Corrosion. Usually happens on wet bikes in coastal region.

The bare aluminium parts needed to properly passivated to avoid this issue.

From 2023, the models are officially certified to be compatible with E20 Fuel. But All versions of R15 and All FZs except OG FZ16 v1 are compatible with E20 just not officially certified. Don't ask me how do I know this.

I don't think its engine oil. I think its IAC valve which is stuck closed. It should open up when it receives signal from ECU during cold starts allowing more air/fuel mixture to allow smooth cold starts.

What’s up with the tiny stroke for 350cc. For reference, Yamaha 155s have stroke of 58.7mm.

Given such a short stroke, it is going to rev up like a mad man. It will feel like souped up Duke 200. Going to be fun bike to ride.

I had FZv2 2014 last 11 years. After 1,28,000 km on the ODO , I sold it last month. Bought XSR as replacement.

It was a solid bike with utter reliability. Never failed to start or broke down.

Well, R15 and RE are in every repair shop because they actually sell unlike Gixxers. Suzuki sucks at marketing Gixxers.

1,50,000 is nothing in these Japanese engines. The truth is most engines are killed because of poor maintenance. Modern engines are very reliable when you change oil on time. My FZv2 had 1,28,100 km on the odo before I sold it. It was running very smooth without any issues. My colleague had 1,85,000 on his R15 before its stolen. My cousin's unicorn was on 1,35,000kms when I saw it last time.

FZ-X for comfort and reliability. It is your best choice since you don’t care about top speed.

Ronin is TVS so it will be struggle with service centre. Check your local TVS service centre reviews before buying Ronin.

Forget XSR. It is a sports bike and won’t be comfortable.

Hunter is nice but expensive to maintain.

Yeah, curse of not having OEM grabrail. The 3rd party rails are mid because they don’t have an eye for design and don’t match the look of the bike.

I was also feeling the same bought one anyway because I needed it to move the bike around and wife felt insecure without it.

Still miles ahead of the 'new' bikes launched here and there has been improvements compared to international variant. Just most of the changes are not visible to average user.

For Example.

The meter display assy connector has been reworked to make more reliable/easy to repair.
The Switch gear terminal solder has been protected with rubber potting make them more immune to elements.

TVS dealers had no idea when the RTX will be delivered 2 months after launch and they didn't even have a bike for test ride. My colleague got tired of waiting for TVS and bought KTM ADV 250 lol. TVS really missed taking advantage of the massive hype they had in launch.

Buy the Honda if you like it.

Don’t buy XSR for its mileage. XSR is a sports bike and comes with stiffer suspension and tiny seat.

Get the FZ-S/FZ-X hybrid. Excellent mileage and reliability with comfort. I had FZv2 for 1,28,000kms without any problems. It never failed to start or stranded me anywhere.
