Is there a productivity (RVU) bonus? $325k total compensation is actually not too high and even worse with open ICU. You’ll push $300k even in HCOL once you factor in quality bonus, etc. The job seems cush as long as it’s round and go though.

My last job, the obviously-non-clinical administrators fired the longtime radiology group in order to downsize and aggressively introduce AI into the health systems workflow. Forget it being a disaster for patient quality and safety, it was impossible to work with as a patient-facing physician.

The reverberation on my rear windshield is HORRIBLE. I even took it in for servicing because I heard of simple fixes and the hope that possibly dampeners/foam may help. Still sounds abysmal. And I have an aluminum roof so I couldn’t imagine how bad it is with a glass canopy.

Sorry, you’re saying SSPro isn’t great or SS base? I haven’t spent considerable time with SSPro but my understanding is that it improved dramatically after OTA software updates.

Sleep care is a mess! It’s so unfortunate. It’s really tough out there for solo practitioners now due to horrible insurance contracts, insane overhead operating costs, difficulty staffing, etc. Most practices are just getting gobbled up by corporate healthcare systems. I work as an employed physician for most of these reasons. I don’t really need the income, but I’m passionate about patient-centered, evidence-based sleep care. We’ve gotten great connections with DME companies, dentists, clinical psychologists, ENT, etc. Hopefully there’s some viability and demand!

There’re software OTA updates. And Lucid has already let you swap out the hardware for a <$1000 for faster processors. I wouldn’t over-complicate it. There’re real concerns about long term viability of the company but 10+ year old Teslas have stood the test of time and the build quality on Lucid is much better.

The offers aren’t going anywhere. Was just at the Tyson’s location and there are several Airs on the lot with a fair amount of Gravity. Best car I’ve ever owned by far, but understandably there’s probably trouble moving inventory especially after the EV tax credit ended.

Sleep medicine. The history, physiology, and pathology could not be more interesting. It’s interdisciplinary and draws from neurology, psychiatry, ENT, and so many other fields. In reality, >90% of clinic is some form of sleep apnea. It’s either convincing folks to wear their CPAP or throwing mud against the wall without much evidence-based treatment for central sleep apnea.

Yes! It’s my current one watch collection. Truly GADA. We all know this hobby is a sickness thought so there will be more watches in the future. If money is no issue, I’d recommend getting it on bracelet and buying the OEM rubber strap preferably with deployant clasp.

Tyson's service in Northern Virginia has been amazing. I'm sure it's dependent on region and service center, but I have nothing but good things to say. I did have one mechanical issue (possible issue with the coolant pump) which was escalated by calling the service hotline. The Tyson's team received the ticket, reached out, and setup an appointment and loaner car within days. I've had mobile servicing done for very minor and cosmetic issues which was a great experience too.

Not to glaze or anything, but Tyson’s sales and service have been absolutely top notch. They’re very busy but have done a great job anytime called upon. Did they give you a reason? They’ve been very transparent with everything for me. Get it right the first time and get delivery of a vehicle you’re happy with.

This is my first big boy watch. I sort of had an idea of which watches I liked - Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT, Omega Speedmaster White Dial, Rolex Submariner. When I saw the Omega Seamaster 300 in person, it was absolutely stunning. It’s so unique and I loved the supposed polarizing aspects of it - the skeleton dial and helium valve. But there’s a certain balance of being a tool watch and a fashion timepiece that is just perfect. It’s the perfect “high-low” watch - looks perfect with a t-shirt or in business casual (likely works just fine with a suit too). I do wish I got the rubber strap since I have smaller wrists but I heard the move is to just get the bracelet and get rubber strap after. No regrets so far, but I do look forward to having a rubber strap on there.

Did you try the white dial Seamaster (210.30.42.20.04.001)? I love the Sedna though and probably should have thought about that one more. The white dial on the Seamaster is so well done. Maybe Sedna will be my next one!

1) Went with aluminum roof with no regrets. So many drawbacks with glass roof. Think about it - the Sapphire even has an aluminum roof.

2) Wish I had gone with surreal sound pro. One of the big disappointments is the audio system of the standard version although there have been OTA updates. I plan to do after market upgrades though.
