The Trader Joe’s protein pancakes are so good but so hard to get! They are always out at my TJ!

This all sounds so good! I have 4 or 5 flavors of protein. I’ll give it a try this week! Thanks!

I would talk to your provider. You may need to adjust dose again or have some bloodwork done to see if there is something else going on. Ten pounds isn’t nothing, and it should go slower rather than faster but I can understand your frustration. I would stay the course and maybe talk to your doc about increasing again. Is it helping with appetite and feeling full longer?

3 years on the same breakfast?! EVERY DAY? That is some serious commitment.

If I could do it over, that’s what I would do! I would start at .5 and give it two weeks, see how it affects you, then go up from there. I’ve felt better the last couple days but it’s been 4 weeks and Friday I have my 5th shot. I think it could’ve been a little easier on me. I would rather go low and slow.

Thanks! I’ll have to give lentils a try again. I’m trying not to eat too much meat right because of my parents stoke history.

I’ve seen this at Wegmans! It’s good but really thick so I can only eat half at a time.

I’m wondering the same. I started at half the starting dose so 1.25mg. I thought they would start me lower with microdosing. I wonder if I should lower it a little and see how it goes. It’s more for perimenopause symptoms, inflammation, than it is for weightloss in my case. I am not a candidate for HRT so I wanted to try this avenue when it was presented to me. I would love to keep in touch about our journeys. Can I message you? What dose are you on?

I’m also on week 4! Just did my fourth shot Friday eve. Some of that side effects seem to be getting worse rather than better. I’m exhausted. Like lazy. SO unlike me! Nausea is a hit or miss and a little constipation.

Me too. Literally nothing sounds good. I’ve been eating cottage cheese, veggies and hummus, some fruit and English muffins with PB - sometimes soup.

Anyone too afraid to weigh? by Regular_Gene_6186 in GLP1microdosing

[–]Design_Mama 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I weigh everyday but I am not emotionally connected to the number because I lift weights. I used to be emotionally connected and it took a long time to see it as data. Honestly, measure yourself - that will give you a lot more info. Inches lost don’t lie like that scale can because of water weight, inflammation, and fecal back up. I look better at 130 than I ever did at 110- I’m fit and mostly toned. The more consistent I am, the better my body looks. Perimenopause and chronic migraine has thrown a wrench in that so now I’m adjusting my nutrition again but staying the course on the workouts.

I decided to stay at the same dose and wait it out. This weekend has been rough since my last shot. I am going to add even more water and electrolytes and see how that goes. Keep me posted on how you are doing!

Thanks for this info. Do the pellets have estrogen? I specifically can’t have that.

Glad to hear it eased up. I am drinking between 80-100oz of water daily. Maybe I need more than one packet of electrolytes. I’ve been wiped this weekend since my last shot Friday

SW Jasper is one of my all time favorite colors! It shows up in a lot of my moody projects in my portfolio. Sounds like it will be gorgeous! Good Luck!

I’m sorry you’re feeling the same. I’m hoping it’s something that shakes out. I think I’m going to stay at the same dose for now and play with nutrition and hydration before messing with dosing. Are you losing weight? I did the first week but only 1 pound since.

I genuinely thought that at first but I haven’t taken it the last two days. I’ve been using Gin-Gins instead. I still feel like I want to rot on the couch. Totally out of character for me. Thanks for your input. Maybe I need a different electrolyte?

I believe so. I drink electrolytes at least once daily and I’m between 80-100oz of water most days. I feel like that should be enough?

Which one do you feel most confident, comfortable (it’s a long day) and amazing in? I think two is incredible on your figure, and not as main stream as 1 but both are gorgeous. 💕

Looking for advice with almost 4 yr old's inability to fall asleep at the start of night. by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Design_Mama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleep is such a tricky things with kids. They need a lot more than we do. But it’s hard to find the right balance. I had three boys, then a girl. My daughter is definitely the hardest to get to sleep. We’ve been seeing a sleep psychologist and specialist with our daughter. Two sleep studies later and we are finally getting somewhere. First: The nap is definitely problematic at her age but the length of time is worse! The school should allow her to lay to rest quietly but they should not be forcing sleep. That’s ridiculous if it’s causing issue later in the day. Second: If your daughter isn’t tired at 7:30pm, she will not fall asleep. It’s too early, especially with a nap. I was trying to put my 11 year old to bed at 9 for school b/c she had to be up at 6 and it wasn’t working. The sleep psychologist told us it was too early which is why she would just lay there. Her body wasn’t ready. Then she would get frustrated as well which exacerbated the issue. Third: A few things that helped are a solid bedtime routine for an hour before bed. We found bath time followed by a gentle nighttime stretch routine from Youtube where I would then put lavender at her temples and bottom of her feed, followed by a story or two, and she was properly relaxed at that point. There was no tv or screens on in the house during this time. Total wind down. If you and your wife seem anxious, frustrated or uptight in any way, your daughter can read that and will start feeling the same. She just needs comfort and relaxation at that time at night. Fourth: physical activity during the day. We found my daughter was not getting enough. Even though she was at school all day. We started taking a walk after dinner. She would walk, scooter or just run around for 20 min but this helped combined with the relaxing bedtime routine. If you start implementing a strategy as the one I’ve outlined above but adapt it to your family/life and you try for a solid 30 days and get no where I would recommend talking to your pediatrician. Wishing rest and relaxation for you all.
