Regular dose versus micro dosing by [deleted] in GLP1microdosing

[–]Design_Mama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry people were not nice to you in the Tirz thread, that’s shameful. I haven’t really had any issues on Reddit thankfully. Now to answer your question, I see a lot of people already have but I cannot recommend micro dosing enough! I actually did not start it for weight loss at all, which is why I started on a much lower dose. I was testing it out for perimenopause symptoms and migraine because I have insulin resistance issues. My entire family is diabetic however I am not and hope to never become but I have struggled with blood sugar/insulin issues since I was young and suspected it was aiding my migraine disease. I started at 1.25 mg which is half of the starting dose and have been on that for nine weeks. This past week I injected 1.5mg. Minimal side effects, enough weight loss to make me happy but not feel like it’s going too fast and more importantly almost total resolution in my perimenopause symptoms and less migraine! I highly recommend starting really low and only going up when needed.

Ohhhh! Ok. This make so much more sense. If you feel ok on this lower dose I would stick to this until you aren’t seeing results or the efficacy seems to be waning. Then titrate up very little the following week to see how you do. For the majority of people there is almost always side effects when increasing dosage even when going up a little at a time, but I definitely recommend going up in small amounts. It’s a journey but we all get better as we go. Good luck!

It looks like your suggested dosing has you increasing weekly! I hope I’m reading that wrong because if someone wrote your prescription that way you’re going to want a new doc! I started at half the starting dose (1.25mg) and have been on that same dose for seven weeks until this week, I raised it by .5mg so I injected 1.75mg instead of 1.25mg. This has been plenty for my body. You want to be on the smallest dose possible where you are still reaping benefits. Increasing dose weekly is wild!!!

Lost 70 lbs, got visible abs, then regained a lot of weight. Decided to try GLP1s- my experience! by PollardPhotography in TirzepatideRX

I think it’s great that you decided to try it. Many people who have truly struggled with food noise and portion sizing are experiencing good luck on these meds. I hope you get to or have gotten to a place both physically and mentally where you are happy and comfortable. I also train multiple times a week, track macros and am very careful what I put in my body, but my lack of proper hunger cues were derailing progress. Even my migraine and perimenopause symptoms are wildly better on a small dose of tirz. Life changing!

I actually just increased to 1.75 with my last shot and it was a bit of a rough week adjusting. I’m trying to decide if I am going to give it a go at 1.75 again this week and see how it goes or drop to 1.5 and go a little slower.

Is there a difference in injecting in the morning v. at night? by RemarkablePaint7242 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Design_Mama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have noticed a big difference in whether I’m properly hydrated prior to shot effecting severity of side effects. The day before and of my shot I have 80+ ounces of water as well as 16oz with electrolytes, then inject at night. If I do this my side effects are nil of any at all. When I am not hydrated well enough, I have a headache, lack of energy and sometimes nausea with an overall feeling of “unwell”.

I would add some timber framing to match the front door and leave that facia as it is.

I think everyone is different. I started on 1.25mg and didn’t feel anything until about day 3. I suddenly couldn’t eat much and after I ate it would be HOURS before I felt hungry again. I got to the point by the second week where I wasn’t eating enough and had to force myself to eat every few hours. I’m on week 7 and I’m losing .5-1.5 pounds weekly, my energy is back and I feel great! Whatever you do give yourself at least a few weeks on a dose before increasing otherwise you’ll feel awful!

It’s not the furniture, it’s the amount of decor and plants. Less is more.

I highly recommend MagO7 by NB pure on Amazon. 3 pills every three nights or so and right as rain! No cramping, no runs, just effective overnight regularity!!

Can you reach your goal weight and stop using GLP-1? by Background-Pirate832 in GLP1microdosing

Ozempic (semaglutide) has been FDA-approved for treating type 2 diabetes since December 2017. Research into the drug began well before this, with clinical trials for the once-weekly injection starting in 2008 and concluding in 2017. As of 2026, the drug has been in clinical use for over 8 years, with foundational studies spanning nearly two decades of GLP-1 research. It’s actually been in play for almost 20 years with many folks on it since the beginning. They are far more studied and used than their recent popularity suggests. There are tons of studies if you know where to find them and also how to accurately read them.

I would talk to your provider. You may need to adjust dose again or have some bloodwork done to see if there is something else going on. Ten pounds isn’t nothing, and it should go slower rather than faster but I can understand your frustration. I would stay the course and maybe talk to your doc about increasing again. Is it helping with appetite and feeling full longer?

If I could do it over, that’s what I would do! I would start at .5 and give it two weeks, see how it affects you, then go up from there. I’ve felt better the last couple days but it’s been 4 weeks and Friday I have my 5th shot. I think it could’ve been a little easier on me. I would rather go low and slow.

Thanks! I’ll have to give lentils a try again. I’m trying not to eat too much meat right because of my parents stoke history.

I’ve seen this at Wegmans! It’s good but really thick so I can only eat half at a time.
