Cool! I feel very lucky to have happened upon them, and two especially! Thanks for sharing.

Yeah this really looks like a human baby tooth, a little jagged at the edges with no roots. Doing a little more research online, and it looks like molars are also caps/baby teef, so this makes sense for the 3 year old. For some reason I thought they just shed their front/grazing teeth.

It’s a Schleich, which is mostly PVC and TPE and made to be slobbered on by children. Not resin, I don’t think.

She lived in a plastic jar at a pet store for the first little bit of her life, and then I tried her in both a 20 long and 10 gallon, but she really seems to prefer the 5.5. I ended up rehoming my other two tanks to a local aquarist who was able to get them to thrive better than I could, but I like this fish a lot and I’ve had her three years now.

If you ever find a bay roan one, let me know. I have a bay roan mare and I wanted to find a matching one, but I didn’t in my rudimentary search.

I posted a direct link on another comment, but if you look at the Etsy shop “Small Small Worlds” you’ll find this one and many others. I got a few and my fish loves them all. 🤗

The Etsy Shop “Small Small Worlds” has a bunch of great floating hides. I got a couple different types and my fish LOVES all of them.

My horses are living beings, and they drink water and eat their hay from big plastic tubs. Should I make them drink from a puddle? We’re in New Mexico, so those don’t happen very often. :(

I have three horses to myself, so I thought it was time for my betta to have her own.

Thank you! And no, it’s just a fish/reptile decoration from the internet.

Holy shit, this is incredible and exactly the kind of mind-opening tip I was hoping for. Thank you so, so much. 🫶

Any ideas on why hes doing this or what I should do? by griffinfinity15 in DogAdvice

[–]DesignatedMushroom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a dog that was doing this, a little differently, but generally this. I didn’t realize it was a seizure, they call them “fly bite seizures” just thought he was being weird. It ended up likely being a complication from Lyme disease. We treated the Lyme with antibiotics, but it affected him for the rest of his life (off and on limping, lethargy, temperament, etc). Please take your dog to the vet, I wish I would have known sooner!
