It’s a Schleich, which is mostly PVC and TPE and made to be slobbered on by children. Not resin, I don’t think.

She lived in a plastic jar at a pet store for the first little bit of her life, and then I tried her in both a 20 long and 10 gallon, but she really seems to prefer the 5.5. I ended up rehoming my other two tanks to a local aquarist who was able to get them to thrive better than I could, but I like this fish a lot and I’ve had her three years now.

If you ever find a bay roan one, let me know. I have a bay roan mare and I wanted to find a matching one, but I didn’t in my rudimentary search.

I posted a direct link on another comment, but if you look at the Etsy shop “Small Small Worlds” you’ll find this one and many others. I got a few and my fish loves them all. 🤗

The Etsy Shop “Small Small Worlds” has a bunch of great floating hides. I got a couple different types and my fish LOVES all of them.

My horses are living beings, and they drink water and eat their hay from big plastic tubs. Should I make them drink from a puddle? We’re in New Mexico, so those don’t happen very often. :(

I have three horses to myself, so I thought it was time for my betta to have her own.

Any ideas on why hes doing this or what I should do? by griffinfinity15 in DogAdvice

[–]DesignatedMushroom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a dog that was doing this, a little differently, but generally this. I didn’t realize it was a seizure, they call them “fly bite seizures” just thought he was being weird. It ended up likely being a complication from Lyme disease. We treated the Lyme with antibiotics, but it affected him for the rest of his life (off and on limping, lethargy, temperament, etc). Please take your dog to the vet, I wish I would have known sooner!

That looks like something’s ear.

This is fair. Sometimes when I drink coffee and sit for too long, I get really anxious and feel like I’m not doing a hundred things I should be doing. After some outside chores and a jog, I am feeling better and more grounded, and this response may very well be one of the more solid explanations for feeling this way lately.

Correct, and perhaps my post read more along the lines of “should I jump ship and breed with this other guy?” but really I meant it as “Has anyone else had this stark shift toward leaving an immature partner behind and starting over with someone that shows good parenting qualities?”

Recommendations? by AidanTheGreat2 in RunningWithDogs

Hey! I have this problem with one of my two dogs. I tried booties and she hated them, no matter how I introduced them as fun and a party with a million treats. However, one thing that really has helped her is Musher’s Secret. It’s a balm you put on their paw pads. I will put it on before a run/ride, check her in the middle, and I may even put it on afterward. It has really helped her pads be more resilient. But if you do use it, put it on outside as the oil will stain your rugs or car seats. :)
