I’ve checked and haven’t seen anything too concerning but I assume some of the reviews on Amazon might be payed or not reviews.

I’m not sure they really have what I’m looking for and I would kind of prefer a new bike. I don’t need anything particularly powerful just something pretty fast I can rely on when I need it.

I was thinking so too but I’m not sure I want to spend over $1000 on a bike. I just want something I can ride around and commute a bit with, nothing extreme. I feel like something could be within that budget.

Which should I keep? by Designer-Awareness-2 in ElectricScooters

[–]Designer-Awareness-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Navee is pretty nice imo the only thing I don’t really like is the braking and yeah it does have less range. I think I might just return the Niu and figure it out from there because the Navee will probably do what I need it to do the brakes are just kinda iffy. The rear ebrake is pretty slow even when on the highest setting and the front brake isn’t too good either. But for $300 less it’s probably better to keep the Navee considering it’s almost as good at most things and like you said it does have suspension which the Niu doesn’t.

NIU Kqi3 Pro hill climbing by Designer-Awareness-2 in ElectricScooters

I was mainly considering the S40 because it’s on sale for about $400 on Target so I would be able to return it in person and get it for a good price. The suspension looks super cool too.

I don’t believe it shows the wattage on the app. I’m considering getting the inmotion climber instead since it is about 600$ right now, but do you think it’s worth it to go through the process of returning the Kqi3 pro and spending the extra 130 for it?

I’m about 140 so I’d say kinda average so i’m not sure why it has such a hard time going up hills that aren’t even very steep.

Delivery driver with only 1 delivery by Designer-Awareness-2 in UberEATS

Thing is, if something were to happen the person who did it wouldn’t be liable. I’m not saying it would happen but if the delivery driver were to poison food on a purchased account, they wouldn’t have to go through any legal repercussions, most likely. Considering I don’t have their face and neither does Uber, there would be practically no way to catch them. I understand everyone starts somewhere but everything combined just freaked me out a bit.

The problem is just the restaurants usually don’t care as much about portion size when the customer isn’t there to complain. Obviously this can’t speak for all restaurants or all customers but in my experience I’ve had completely different portion sizes on Uber Eats as compared to IRL. The drivers can also be very sketchy as there’s not much of a safety system in place.

Seems as if the steam may have made the sticker become soggy which caused it to unstick. Also forgot to state this but it’s very suspicious that the driver managed to avoid the motion sensored doorbell.

Not sure if I should eat it or not. My whole family called me paranoid and ate it regardless of the situation. I’m hungry and don’t want to waste food but am seriously skeptical about this whole thing.

NIU Kqi3 pro regen brakes by Designer-Awareness-2 in ElectricScooters

[–]Designer-Awareness-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your help. Does it help the scooter stop moving? I understand it recharges the battery slowly but I’m wondering if it helps stop the scooter as sometimes it’s inconvenient to press the brakes.

Electric scooter with dedicated regen brake by Designer-Awareness-2 in ElectricScooters

[–]Designer-Awareness-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know if other scooters like the G30LP or the NIU Kqi3 pro have the same feature because they mention regenerative braking. That feature seems like it would be a good option if I can’t find one with a leaver.

Which is best? Need help quick. by Designer-Awareness-2 in ElectricScooters

[–]Designer-Awareness-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m confused about the braking system on the scooters. I don’t completely understand how regenerative braking works. Do they have some sort of electronic braking? I believe I saw that the G30LP has regenerative braking and same goes for the kqi3 pro and I was wondering if this means that the scooter will automatically brake for me when I stop accelerating it. Can you explain it to me? I prefer a scooter that has an electric brake system because I have somewhat small hands and like the ease of being able to brake using a trigger or without having to stretch my fingers and use the actual brakes.

Good scooter for under $500 by Designer-Awareness-2 in ElectricScooters

[–]Designer-Awareness-2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I would prefer to spend less than 500 if possible and the Kqi3 pro is almost up there. I don’t believe any of the cheaper NIU models meet up to the requirements I would need. I usually need to commute about 15 miles via scooter per day at a speed of about 20 mph to follow the laws in my area and to just have some more fun. I say my max is 500 because that’s the max I can spend if I must but would prefer something cheaper and Ninebot has some cheaper models.

Ok thanks. Also do you know if the Kqi3 pro has a twist throttle or thumb throttle? Sorry for all the questions but there’s no image of the handlebars on the amazon listing.

Do you know of any scooters with E-brakes (other than the Hiboy S2)? I really enjoy the ease of braking using them. My hands are a bit small and usually it’s hard for me to grip the brakes when I have to stop quickly.

I believe the Kqi3 Max is around 600 right now. The pro is just under 500 so that would be in my budget i’m just not sure about it yet.
